4 Ford 13" 4x108 Slot Alloy wheels. Cortina, Capri etc.with 185 70 13 tyres.

These are original Ford alloys (Ford casting on rear as in photo)  as fitted to the Mustang 2 which shared parts with the Cortina. I had them on my Cortina Mk4 with no problems. No rubbing. No wobble. Balanced with weights on inside. MOT'd a few months ago. 2x Goodyear GT2 2xGoodride all with 6mm+.

63.4mm centre bore. ET10.

The original centre caps with Mustang motif have seen better days but are rare items.

£150 collection J24 M6.

WANTED REQUEST PLEASE

 

Would anyone have a set of wheels for a Volvo 240?

 

Steels are fine and tyre condition does not matter. I need to be able to move the blue project car around and currently it’s mostly on flats that won’t hold air.

 

Free would be preferable, in keeping with the project car and they can be returned, eventually (once some alloys are procured for the finished project).

 

Any help greatly appreciated, please drop me a message.

Step 3: hypothetically ponder how useful it would be to have a dedicated set of winter tyres to avoid certain peril - quickly followed up with "but it's not like I'm going to find a spare set of Mustang II wheels round here"

 

Step 4: go and make nice a cup of tea/coffee/Ovaltine for all parties

 

Step 5: return holding aloft your device of choice, opened at the classified ad for those slot mags, feigning look of utter amazement

 

*Important* - practice look of utter amazement in mirror first to ensure maximum credibility.

After the battery woe I want some new fixings but don't need the giant bags that come from screwfix etc

WANTED: Has anyone got or know of a single phase tyre changer/machine going cheapish?

 

A mate and I are both utterly hacked off with being bent over to have motorcycle tyres changed - motorcycle tyres arent dear, but places seem to charge through the nose for fitment, the local bloke who isnt too expensive is a pain in the arse being unreliable. We've done it manually and already have weights, air, a balancer  even a manual bead breaker etc, but really want a semi auto/full auto machine. At the moment we are seriously considering buying a machine new (the one we are looking at is £650ish), used stuff on ebay seems to go for top money.

 

If anyone knows of one for sale for sensible money in working order dansarf or in whales please reply or pm me.

It currently wears a very noisy pair of snow tyres on the front and iffy ditchfinders with 3mm of tread on the back. The ability to refit the snow tyres with my own tools would be helpful which is why I'd like to buy a set.

Any serial mini fettlers on here? I have some weird and wonderful bits I need to clear, straight cut magic wand box, turbo prepped 11stud engine, 1275 short engine, stripped and good condition. Not cheap but will be very sensible money with discount for shiters. Pm if interested.
