Roffle MGF roffle - drawing tonight!

I've never done one of these before so feel free to point out if I'm doing anything silly!

 

I briefly mentioned this the other day on the fundraising thread. I have a Y reg MGF which I don't need, I have nearly £700 in it, and as I was on my way home from France and reading some of the comments about Dave, it occurred to me that I might be able to help raise some funds for a worthy cause. Don't want to tread on anyone's toes though.

 

What I propose is this, I run it as a normal roffle, numbers 1-59. I would like to get £600 back out of it, and every penny above that will be donated to the pot.

 

Now here's where I'm not sure how best to work it, perhaps aim for £14 per ticket, making £826 total, and £226 for the pot. What do we think? It's on eBay with 20 watchers at £1000...

The winner will have the honour of taking it over the 100k mark. It's currently on 99998 or 99999.

I think the colour is Anthracite

Mix match of tyres fitted, advisory was for amount of tread left on rears, they'll need replacing soon if you want to do many miles.

It sits nicely on its Hydragas and rides well

It comes with a hard top in the same colour. This needs the headlining regluing, and has a scratch in the paint, but it seems to fit well and has a heated screen. The hood has the usual tiny holes where it rubs on the frame when folded, but the plastic screen isn't cracked or anything.

 

I've driven it a total of about 12 miles, and compared to our old VVC with rude exhaust, this standard 1.8i is so quiet and feels totally different. I was told it does need the coolant level checked regularly. I pressure tested it overnight and saw it barely drop. None of the HGF signs are there so it may be a weep appearing when hot or something.

 

It's in South Cumbria, Broughton in Furness, LA20. Collection is from here or I can chuck it on the trailer.
