I've got a set of these in my shed somewhere.

I have these fitted to my V70. Nice looking wheels and easy to keep clean.

There are some very interesting choices on this thread, and I agree it depends entirely on the vehicle.

Here are a few that make me do a sex wee;

4-spoke Revolution;

7x13_4SpokeRaceMattBlackHR.jpg

Ford RS 4-spoke

W047-500x500.JPG

American Racing 5-spoke;

ARE-30958576_xl.jpg

These take some explaining to non-VW people I guess - fake Porsche Fuch wheels in wide 5 bolt pattern for early Beetles etc - look better than the originals IMO

Azev A;

Centerlines. Yum;

There are loads more but I'll add one I hate, and again it's a fake wheel for VWs. Empi style 5 spokes (nice) but with a late Bus bolt pattern - look horrific with the "ears" where the original bolt holes were meant to be.

Should look like;

I do like a good sunraysia! No.1 wheel for 4x4s

I am a wheel and hubcap fetishist. There are some cars I would only have with particular wheel style and size.

For example MorrisItalSLX's love of the Jag Pepperpot, I couldn't own a S3 with them on, in fact in 1991 I had a beautiful B reg 4.2 that I got for next to nothing off my employer. The first thing I did was go to MWS in Coventry and buy a brand new set of GKN Kents ( for, I think £50 per wheel!). This could have been because of my Equaliser fantasies, admittedly.

Mk2 Granadas- TRX or steels. Nothing else!

I like those 90's Mondeo GLX swirly type trims or the povo spec XR3i white hubcaps.

Always liked these for some reason:

I've seen them on a mini and they don't look wrong.

I think a set of these:

Would look perfect on a CX, especially if the single bar was colour coded to the car.

Single spoke steering wheel, single spoke wheels...

I'll take my Challenger with " Cop wheels ..." Thanks. Oh and a 700bhp Hellcat engine, painted white, for those modern day Kowalski fantasies.

I actually tried to buy some of these 18" Police spec steels for my 300C, there were none in the country and used ones in US were £800 a set plus shipping and duty. I could have bought 22" alloys with tyres cheaper!

Everybody knows that Wolfrace slots are the bestest wheels of all time.

Yes they are, shut up.

This is probably the only highlight of a particularly ugly thing.

"Princess Anne" alloys are a fine alternative to the Wolfie Superslot. On a Scimitar.

I also like Cosmic Mk2s as well. But 4 stud only. They look weird at 5 stud/10 spoke.

Please tell me they are handed.

Astra Gsi Fan Blade alloys look great one way round but wrong the other way.

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again

Dance while the record spins!

The other thing I am known to say is the Dunlop D1 wheel on a Mini is one of the greatest works of mans creativity across the ages. Rodin, Michaelangelo and Botticelli cannot compete and a set of these should be in the National Gallery

You are the winner!

How could I forget Dunlop Racing wheels. A few years ago there was a Bentley Continental with these on parked in Eton Square, think it was prepared for an overland trip or something, sump guard, modern headlamps etc, but I've never found a picture of it.

So, here's Mr Bean in his "lightweight" Mk7
