I saw £150 scrap for one recently. In fact there's a 40k example on our road the owners planning on scrapping. Test has run out, not a spot of rust on it.

Petrol ones are worth maybe £40 if OE. If not sweet fuck all.

 

The scrapman will check you've not removed it though likely. On something like this it accounts for a sizeable value in proportion to the entire car.

It's genuinely staggering to see a 53-plate car for £50, even with a wobbly key. On the flipside, it's also quite staggering to see a 15-year old Ford that hasn't got rotten rear arches.

Good luck with the Speed Sensor, once you have the pin out the sensor can be a real swine to get out, you don't want it to break off in the box. Plenty of penetrating fluid, I'm probably preaching to the converted here.
