Nice.Mot pal phoned to book* it in. Picked up by faither at 10am in his Volvo (he's scottish). While he visits hospital for special boot fitting for his club foot (My fault as reported elsewhere) I go to autosave and buy new battery and oil then fill a can of diesel.We then proceed to bacon roll cafe on A90. Sorry, no pics but if you like lots of bacon, fatty and frazzled, I recommend The Horn.Then on to the car location. It's that Errol. Battery swappage Dad reading up on how to open the boot and where the fuel filler is. Behind the back number plate in case you're wondering. That front number plate needs straightening up. I'll post the wife's reaction when she comes home and discovers it on the drive. As little as 18bhp per litre, the original XUD9 was good for 34bhp per litre for comparison.I love rubbish old diesels and this is peak rubbish old diesel.
