Saab is fixed.

Courtesy of the lovely 2smoke of this parish, the shouting has stopped.

No horn on locking, or unlocking.

No BONG BONG BONG BONG seatbelt warning.

No autolock on the boot.

It's wonderful.

Although the curry delivery lady might think i'm a bit odd. We were camping in a difficult to access place so I went and waited for her next to the car. And there I was going, lock, "ooooooo thats nice", unlock, "giggle", lock, unlock, "ahhhhh" lock, "awesome" when I became aware of someone standing in the dark, watching me, clutching a bag of curry.

I don't know how long she had been there, but she seemed keen to leave.

2smoke sir - I thank you very much. The irritations have gone.

No problem at all , yours did have a bad case of the bing bongs ! As i said I reckon some teccy was bored and thought " how annoying can I make this car ".

My mate knows I love Renault 4's, and so keeps sending me photos of the ones he sees on the island of Pag in Croatia.

I love this one, peeking out from behind the bushes.

The bongs are unbongable? How so?

Mine has the seatbelt bongs but also reverse sensors - bearing in mind you turn the ignition on with the gear lever in R. Also it has low washer fluid which generates even more bongs. It's quite a racket when I start it up.

I just changed the address for my car insurance, credit card at the ready and on the phone to Elephant. No admin fee and a £42 refund.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND, WHAT IS HAPPENING

All the bongs are customisable on Tech 2

I think the kids would say Well Jel!

Mine bongs all the flipping time. Garage couldn't read ABS light either so will need tech 2 for that.

The autolock on the boot is a mega pain in the bum bum especially when you have hands full.

ebay ad posted from last year before the word Barn was invented.... :D

refreshingly refreshing to see such honesty. a shed being advertised as a shed that probably would have been scrapped 20 years ago had its owner been bothered.

MrsR shouted me about some model cars a bloke on a local FB group was selling, so I looked.  His prices were right, and he had some of the partwork Bond cars, so I messaged him and arranged a visit.  Came back with two: Scaramanga's bronze AMC and Felix Leiter's Thunderbird (Goldfinger).  I've been after Scaramanga's car on ebay for ages, but it always runs away over budget.

This is the woman who keeps telling me I have too many and she's going to start getting rid of them.  I think she's learning...

More investigation does sound needed, the brushroll should be off when the clutch is in the off position or the machine is upright

I'm going RR Gathering, probably not the thing to admit on here but last years invited guest cars were utterly awesome. I was about three feet from a fire spitting Lancia on launch. Also a decent show field, and a nice range of stuff going up the hill - much better than static only.

The errant saab key has been found. Hurrah hurrah and may allah bless everything from on high.

Extra pleased by this as internet research seemed to indicate that new keys for these are a right pita.

The only problem is it was found in my shoe. Up until now we* had been working on the basis that the normally infallible other half had lost it late one night after locking up the car with a couple* of pimms in her. This gave weight to my "i told you not bother locking the car" argument and I may have mentioned this a couple* of times from the pedestal of the righteous and wronged.

Nothing has been said. Yet.

I go every year just to watch the motors blast up the hill, and the car park is full of some ace motors.

Going to give my Saab a blast up there, going early to hopefully miss the rain.

Lol! What a farce today...

I'd decided, despite waking up later than I wanted to, to take the bus to Bridgnorth and spend an hour or two just milling around, unfortunately the bus broke down in a small village just outside of Bridgnorth and time was running out before the last bus would have been due back to my town, so after about 40 minutes of waiting around in a rather lovely little village of Highly, the other passengers were packed off in a 7-seater taxi whilst the chap taking the bus back to Kidderminster dropped me off by home, which was good seeing as it started pouring it down with rain despite having been a nice warm day and I was dressed only in Chinos, a sleeveless t-shirt and sandles

I also got a refund so I can try again in a couple of days.

It's a very accurate website too, you can look into the distance at lightning forks and 3 seconds later see a strike on the map. Technology is bloody brilliant.

I was looking into setting up a recording station for it, it uses quite cheap equipment

My mate sent me this that he found in one of his campervan perv books. It seems all you need to make a Starcraft is a cortina, moustache and short shorts.

The Wrexham to Chester buses ( which are all very new with wifi and usb charging etc have major gearbox problems- they seemingly can't cope with stop start travel, which isn't a plus point in buses.
