Then of course there are the ones you don't realise you've entered, yet.

Also I've just had an evil thought, it has occurred to me that some people may have the same numbers in both the Rover and Mitsubitsy raffles. Now what are the chances of one of those numbers being the bonus ball?

Mr Ramrod, it could be you

A nice looking steering wheel for the Sera has landed courtesy of Mr_Shitpeas, I may go and fit it just so I know the old one is not there any more.

Now, what should I do with the old one?

I do think it deserves to be killed, with fire or flung in a pit or something. Failing that I could hide it until the next SF and use it for a prize.

I reckon these chaps would love it.

FPB7 and I had some fun this afternoon.  First, we smashed our way into a dead Laguna and revived same.

Then we went to Derby to look at a Scimitar, which was insufficiently Reliant.  After stuffing our faces at the OK Diner on the A38, we came back through Lichfield - following an Austin A40 Devon, which was running so rich it must have been doing about 10mpg - and Burntwood, where we witnessed this joyous roadside landmark...

A good day.  Thanks, Andy.

I popped around mrs fordperv's parents earlier to cut her dad's hair, as I was doin her mum said "I've got a problem my oil light came on" so I said when you go around a sharp corner, she said how did you know, it's only done it once, I then asked her if she had checked her oil, she said no that's your job, mrs fp went out and checked it was low, topped it up, topped up the fluids, her mum was in complete shock that she had done it and not me, me and her dad were pissing our selves about it.

£20 per night if you get your car apart to find eurocarparts have sold you a gear knob rather than a press fit lower balljoint and you can't drive it

£2 to get rid of a gallon of oil is odd, I sell my waste oil for 20p a litre

Yes, I wouldn't want to use it for anything that had a high potential to render the car undriveable as it could get very expensive.  Then again, it's on a quiet industrial estate so if it came to it, I could just push it out on to the roadside!

I'm game for a trip up from South Devon.

Could be good!  When things have quietened down enough for me to focus on car things properly I'll see if anyone fancies a Saturday Devonshire mending session.

My gaffer has been muttering about setting up one of those rent a ramp outfits. I am actively encouraging him but we need to find the right space.

That's is my plan for when I retire ( hopefully earlyish)

By then I will have the workshop fully equipped and I can rent out work space and offer small amounts of help / guidance on jobs I'm interested in

My spare wages are going to fordfair with me on sunday :-) should be picking my bumper up from the bodyshop tomorrow so fingers crossed

Just got a groupon voucher for an mot for £18. They even pick it up and deliver. We will see how good they are as I have booked the hearse in. Not sure who the garage is but there is no way they are going to pass it without trying to make money out of me. It really pisses me off when garages do this as it makes me look like a robber for charging the correct price for a test. If they fail it on too much I feel a call to vosa coming on.

Still, have £70 in cash at home, and 2 dysons to refurb and sell so should limp through... have enough car tinkering to be getting on with so shouldnt notice I'm skint...

Venture down to cornwall and it could be free within reason

Oooof, there's an offer. Shiters trip to Cornwall?

Indeed, a very kind offer, could be good to make a day out of it!  Your place is in St Austell, isn't it?

Heard a bloke as I drove past "Frontera, I used to have one if them" first time I've noticed anyone noticing it.

It's 21 years old but doesn't seem old, if that makes sense

Words my neighbours will never utter...:-)

I was in there recently and some Italian bloke was ordering some parts for his car. He was driving it back that night so wanted to make sure everything was in working order.

The next day I went in early as they had given me the wrong item, as usual, and the Italian man was also there swapping his parts for ones that actually matched what he requested. He didn't look too happy.

They're handy being open til 4 on saturday, but I've had a lot of incorrect parts from them.
