I was trying to find video of the stump pullers the Forestry Commission sometimes use up here, but failed. It's like a big corkscrew with a grab round the outside, attached to a digger like Dave's French one.

Tree stumps don't resist for long, and it does look like something you'd want in the event of zombie apocalypse.

My X1/9 and I have been allocated a spot on the starting grid for the breakfast club meeting at good wood in June. Soft top Sunday, so it will probably rain!

I took up swimming after a long break just after christmas, I usually get 1200m (48 lengths fnarr) dispatched in my lunchtime, 3 times a week, makes me feel a lot better and losing weight too.

Today was rammy packed because they were running a lifeguard training course in half the pool, and its the last day of the school easter holidays, so I only managed 1000m before it got too difficult/annoying weaving through the kids and dozy parents, but still had 15 minutes to kill so I went to the 'health spa' bit of the leisure centre. It was empty except for a quite attractive lady in the jacuzzi - I wasn't sure what to do, so hesitated as I didn't want to just jump on in; I was shocked when she asked if I'd like to join her and then chatted away to me asking all about what I did, whether I came there often, how busy it was etc etc - She's a vet, works nearby and lives a few miles away. She even said that she's there most days and would look out for me! Bloody hell!

This fitness malarkey IS worth it! The icing on the cake was that I was so engrossed in chatting away that I lost track of time and was 15 minutes late back to the office, bonus friday lunchtime FTW

Driving to work yesterday with the sun behind me, coming the other way was a transit mini bus, with a fit Milf driving and two twenty something girls as passengers, they all had big tits and low cut tops and the sun visors down.

It looked like 6 tits driving a van

827 Coupe has been provisionally sold. Finally! Some money coming my way. Though all the sale price will be going toward Merc repairs and re-taxing the it.

At least it'll be away from the bodgers yard and going to a new home where a spares car is waiting to donate it's parts to my Coupe! :D

Received the certificate of conformity for the Rialto today :)

Only 60 euro via FFVE.

Should have frog plates on it very soon, just got to deal with the dragon at the sous prefecture...

Had to clear up someone's fly tipping.

It was clearly the rubbish leftover from a camping trip, circa 1987. Amongst the pot noodles, sleeping bag and frying pan were Norma, Susanah and their blonde friend whose name I'm unsure of...

Result!!!!!

That's good news!

Cheers lads, it was totally unexpected. The chap is a Rover 800 nut too, he bought an R-reg 820 Coupe in the same colour but it's like a colander, mine is solid but just not pretty so it's a case of stripping the R-reg one and fitting all the good bits from that onto mine!

I had it up for £400 but as he was a good chap to deal with I let him have it for £350.

I'm well chuffed it's going to a good home.

Got told today that a garage next to one of mine was probably abandoned after the bloke that owned it was dead and that it might be empty. Managed to get the door open a bit and found this Escort inside. Looks like a 1300 povo spec.

Going to have to find out who's it is and try to get both the car and garage

ITS CRYIN OUT 4 AN RS TURBO REPLICA JOB INIT

Edit: No, seriously though, if you do get hold of it please don't put it up for sale on here, because then I'll have to borrow money from dodgy people and I'll get my legs broken and there'll be a messy divorce and stuff.

Took a run down to sunny Quinton,Birmingham early this am to pick up a full Gsxr usd front end

The plan is to slap it on the RF900 in the next few weeks

Had to keep a very straight face as we negotiated a few quids off

I didn't want to give away the fact that it's fitted with a Genuine Yoshimura top yoke, which is probably worth more than the price I paid for the lot !

Sorry but if I get it I'm keeping it and it'll stay exactly standard. Shame it isn't black though

Aye, I was only joking about the RS Rep. I wasn't joking about the rest of my post, though.

Lol I know! Having far too many Fiestas it might end up on here but getting rid of my black 1300, years ago, was about the only car I really wish I still had. Oh and that ghia X one owner fiesta that got crushed :-(

Waxed and finished my 1981 Lux 506 earlier to make up for being too skint to go to the car boot today!

My mate come over and changed the throttle cables on my SV650, as the twist grip was so heavy. The cables taken out were really rusty, but filled them with oil and hung them up in the garage. Hopefully they will ease of and be good spare ones. He also bought his carb balancers, and we found out the rear carb was completely closed when ticking over.

Can't wait for my knees to be sorted (just waiting for a date to go under the knife now) so I can actually get on it to ride it!
