Shouldn't be a grin really.....but fuck it.

Stepson has 2 month old Fiesta on Ford Options Bumrapefinance.

He also owns a Shitroen Picarso on a 58 plate, driven by his partner.

He's following her to a pre-arranged destination, in slow (10mph) traffic queue. Mobile phone goes ping, he gets it out of his pocket, and fiddles.

I don't need to type any more do I?

Doughnut.

Suffice to say the Fiesta is pretty much unmarked, and the Shitroen has a boot floor with moar ripples that Lake Windermere.

Chodspotting in National Lampoons European wotsit. Shit film, but an impressive amount of vehicular wonderment.

There's currently a power cut where I live and my house is the only one on the street with any lights on. Being a geek and having a couple of UPS (battery backup) devices does make you feel smug on these occasions.

My night on the town with this crowd was more than enough to make up for a year of grumpiness.

If you're playing 'spot the ladyboy' and pick my missus, she will find you and she will kill you.

Is there a lady boy to spot then?

Not that I am brave/stupid enough to take a guess.

Dr Stan Fowler told the BBC he was one of a "handful" of drivers who had spent the night in their cars at Woodhall Services on the M1.

"I arrived here at 20:30 and have bedded down for the night after parts of the car park became impassable," he said.

A doctor of what? Dramatics maybe?

I despair with society sometimes. A bit of snow and country grinds to a halt. Fair enough it took me an age to get home last night but i took my time and made it in one piece. The amount of drivers you see just spinning wheels is shocking!

I fitted my aldi head unit today, and so far I'm impressed! Can't seem to find one of my usual stations but I'll try it somewhere else as its always a bit iffy down our road. Hands free works well whilst sat still with the engine off, and the music streaming is gr9

Whilst fitting it, I decided to have the centre console off to cure a squeak. Made crimping the wire on a lot easier too.

Whilst there I had a look at the un illuminating heater controls. Bulbs were dead. I'd bought a bah of them when I had the xm and they were the same size

Will pop out when its dark and see how good* it looks.

I then stripped out all the old Nokia car kit stuff, the fitter had used silicone to stick the controls to the car, so luckily its peeled off with no damage done.

Since it was going well, I also pulled out all the old sub and amp wires. I could have bought a sub and fitted my among but I just couldn't be bothered, there were no speakers to the doors, and I'd loose the boot space. So out it all came, from the engine bay to the boot.

Then it all went downhill, where I found some water...see grump thread

Spent all day in Homebase, which wasn't enjoyable in itself but it means I can see the light at the end of the renovating the house tunnel! When I'm done it will have taken two and a half years. And to think I thought it didn't need much doing when I bought it... think everything was done by Bodgitt and Scarper Ltd. Might mean I will have some spare cash for some automotive shite too.

OK, I'll play. Middle pic, far right.

If that does turn out to be Mrs_Joe, tell her I'd prefer a .22 to the back of the head, if possible. And no offence to your good self.

Nicked from elsewhere

50 shades of grey by Pam Ayres.....................

The missus bought a Paperback,
down Shepton Mallet way,
I had a look inside her bag;
T'was "Fifty Shades of Grey".

Well I just left her to
 it,
And at ten I went to
 bed.
An hour later she
 appeared;
The sight filled me with
 dread...

In her left she held a
 rope;
And in her right a
 whip!
She threw them down upon the floor,
And then began to
 strip.

Well fifty years or so ago;
I might have had a peek;
But Ethel hasn't weathered
 well;
She's eighty four next
 week!!

Watching Ethel bump and grind;
Could not have been much
 grimmer.
And things then went from bad to worse;
She toppled off her
 Zimmer!

She struggled back upon her
 feet;
A couple minutes
 later;
She put her teeth back in and
 said
I am a dominator!!

Now if you knew our Ethel,
You'd see just why I
 spluttered,
I'd spent two months in traction
For the last complaint I'd
 uttered.

She stood there nude and
 naked
Bent forward just a
 bit
I went to hold her, sensual
 like
and stood on her left
 tit!

Ethel screamed, her teeth shot out;
My God what had I
 done !?
She moaned and groaned then shouted
 out:
"Step on the other
 one!!

Well readers, I can tell no
 more;
Of what occurred that
 day.
Suffice to say my jet black
 hair,
Turned fifty shades of grey.

I think her voice is an essential ingredient.
