In the dusky grey Yorkshire twilight, I just passed a grey Samara Saloon on the A65 :) What a winner!

It made my day. (I may have waved like a loon at it from my Rover.)

That was probably me on the way to work ;) Its metallic green but I can't imagine there was 2 Samara saloons out on that road at the same time ;)

Ooops, now I need to sort out collecting it from Cheshire and really have to get my arse in gear about selling one or three of the motors I have ..... before going to Jersey to buy another Daihatsu next month

That's a right result! Let me know when your over and I'll make sure I'm in. Unfortunately I can't help you out with the cull at the moment but maybe early next year if you still have the GTA.

I didn't even know those deltas existed until a couple of years ago. Looks great

I posted the grin about the unusually reliable classic Alfa last week, only just found this poor picture of the early morning start of the whole journey.  I might not have actually fit in it properly but I do miss looking at it, such a pretty little thing.

Maybe a grin, maybe a grump, depends if you own a Rover 75 or not.

As some may have read I was watching a 1999 (T-reg) 75 Connie V6 this week, 10 months ticket and tons of service history and fully loaded (It was a launch car) I was the highest bidder @ £251 RNM, this really surprised me, shirley now is the time to snap up a 75 if you are ever going to? Clearly these can be got at for peanuts, a grin if your looking for one, a grump if you own one and might wanna sell it anytime soon.

The seller came back to me as the highest bidder and said I could have it for £500.  I declined, tempting yes, but that would mean having to sell the BMW at the moment. A nice 75 would make a nice 2nd car......maybe in the new year  8)

I don't do grinning because I'm a miserable bastard, I don't look forward to anything as I think it will go wrong etc.

Today, I was as near to a grin as possible as I bought a nice big sandblasting cabinet, if I can grab some kiln dried sand in the morning I will mostly be blasting shit all tomorrow !

It's the same as this one but without the retro racing stripe (sadly)

No sand please  - silicosis.

Blast media etc.

It was just before 4pm Wednesday, were you heading towards Settle, just past Coniston Cold?

Anyway where are you based? I'm just up Malhamdale.

You can have first dibs on mine if you like, as I'll probably be selling early next year once I'm bored of it. It's not a Connie but I can guarantee cheapness, and it is rather lovely to waft around in.

Just seen this and don't know where it has come from, can't be bad news however.

Its a great car, cant fault it other than the rear diff has just started to show some signs of leakage. I do like the 318is but it doesn't interest me that much, having said that its very comfy, solid and probably the best looked after E36 318 out there (previously family owned with lever arch folder of receipts from day one, blah blah blah)

there's a smiley face in water on the plug that keeps coming back. At least I hope there is.

Where did he bring it over from?

Reg.plate suggests it's from Poland. Can see some of this shit here from time to time...

Acquired new clutch, paid for not-Valeo and got Valeo, which is brilliant.  Weighs a confidence inspiring deal greater than the other one that I can get a refund on even though it's technically outside of the refund period.  So even though it's been an utter ballache to resolve, I'll end up with a beefier better quality clutch in the Xantia because I bought the wrong one by accident to begin with.  Now that's a happy accident I think.

Glad it wasn't just me that saw the A-frame that wasn't there!  I've been on this site too long, or not long enough.  I bet that Ache-Sam pick-up is both practical* and a joy* to drive.

I drove along the M4 in an electric van thing, and managed to overtake something!

Citroen Acadiane. French plates. Baguettes in the back window. Berets atop the two occupants. Tres bien!
