This makes me happy (only that has so far) although I've always been a 'cat' man, I do have weakness for mice which strangely comes from when I fancied this Polish girl who was a quite mouse-like.

They did look very sweet, like tiny puppies! I've always had Hamsters when I was young, these have helped my daughter get one when shes a few years older! Plus saying "Come on Eva, lets chuck them in the tree belt where they may* survive 20 minutes" hasnt got the same ring as "Come on Eva, lets take them to the animal hospital where they will look after them". She's only 2 but I bet she'd remember Daddy chucking them somewhere when I least want her to!

However if they were Rats then my daughter would have been locked in the house and I'd have covered the hoover in petrol or other flammable shit and set it on fire with them inside. Fooking hate rats after the debacle at the flat!

It was bin day today.  We all put our wheelie bins out in the back alley, and when the wagon comes, they all get tipped in one by one.  Sometimes a bit of rubbish spills out, and nobody ever clears it up, oh no...

Today walking the dog I noticed two bits of black leather left behind.  With a bit of logical deduction, I reckon they are the blindfold and mouthpiece that come with a bondage hood, that clip on with press-studs.  So who's the perv in my street, and who with?  Hmmm, a mystery!  Send for Scooby-Doo!

I think the fact you identified these so easily means ,the question should be;

Who's the OTHER perv in your street?

I'm off to Copenhagen and Helsinki.

I'm holding out to spot the van version!

LJO shares my birthday....

In other news, this morning I got in the van to drive about 10 minutes from one drop to the next.  It was after 0800 so Sounds Of The 60s was on the radio.  Well... volume up, immediately.  Blue Moon by The Marcels.  I love to sing along to that bassline, especially when nobody can hear me.  Next up, Penny Arcade by Roy Orbison.  Not his best perhaps but still, it's Roy.  My mind wandered to the mk3 Zephyr I spotted last weekend and would probably have bought if the owner had been in evidence; and from there to the Zephyr my dad had new in 1965.  Third tune, in succession, no chatter: volume up to 22.  Only... Z Cars!  Don't care what happens now, my day's been made.  Oh, and while it was playing I was driving a white Ford.  Not the correct white Ford, but good enough!  How good does a day get?  Hang on while I check my Euromillions from last night...

Swapping a spare red MGF for a TR7 powered Triumph Toledo that I used to own about 5 years ago. It now resides in my garage (again).

Seeing a Tracta & an Amilcar, and about 50 assorted classic commercials. Oh, and a collection of die cast Sierras.

Took my missus out for the first time 'proper' in the SAAB. It was bloody ace, gently bumbling round the lanes of leafy Cheshire with the roof off, then a drink in a  nice country pub by a canal.

Driving through the Bell Common Tunnel on the M25 this morning ,I'd had a Ferrari F12 behind me for a few minutes,as I pulled over I dropped the window- the Fiat pilote nailed it, I grinned like a 6 year old.

Little things etc...

If the F12 driver is an Autoshiteist, thanks.

Also saw a non pineapple Karmann Ghia, never realised before but the front wing/ headlight look a bit like a 250 Lusso.

Didn't even think I liked Ferraris, except for a 400i Auto obviously.

Bloke next door apologised for being a grumpy twat the other day. I had the cd on in my car while I cleaned dog slobber off the windscreen and apparently, Jethro Tull did not go down well. Some people, no taste! :-D

What year is the Saab billy? I thought my 93 was horrible but the vomit yellow could have been something to do with it.

I drove into Beziers today through sheer boredom. Had a bit of Arabic music coming through the speakers when I suddenly spied upon an old Mk1 Rover 825D Fastback. It was in the old crumbly part of Beziers that didn't look hugely inviting but this was a Mk1 800! I got a photo as I stopped by it in the car but I decided to park the car up and get a proper couple lf photos, there were a few open windows and loud voices coming through them but I used my "stealth mode" I.e pretending 4o read a text whilst having the camera on and clicking the button a few times.

It was utterly unlooked after but certainly a daily driver. I wish the owner was there so I could offer some money his way.

I have been out for a good few sherbets tonight. Lager, vodka and vodka in lager is the choice of champions.

It's a 2001, Glen. Scuttle shake is something of an acquired taste, but other than it's pretty good to drive.
