I don't have to listen to another Christmas song for about 11 months

Bought an iPhone 4S for £165 off Evilbay courtesy of my mum, because I gave her my iPod because hers is full, to save her buying a new one.

WCPGW?

My iPhone 4S romps through its battery charge so quickly I was convinced I'd accidentally downloaded the Pifco electric fan heater app.

^ check you're on the latest iOS. If you are, "install" it again. I've sorted out a couple of 4s (and a 3gs) battery issues by doing this.

Today I finished work early so I came home and wet-vacced all the carpets in the house then ate £15 worth of meats from kebabish, both of these things satisfied me more than they really should have, big pimpin etc

I went to the Trafford Centre today. Ambled in at about 11am expecting everyone on the planet to be there but it was actually surprisingly quiet. Busy, but not crowded. I didn't even have to queue to buy anything. What's going on?

Eating so much and having that massive relief when you finally opt to undo that top button on your jeans

Having successfully managed to avoid television and radio for the last month I have avoided having to endure Slade this year.

I posted this video on Youtube recently, today I had a message from the son of one of the men featured in the video, It's really heart warming to hear from somebody who is genuinely happy to see their loved one's when they were still alive.

Bryn Evans

Thanks for sharing this... I've got a personal connection with the last 2-3 minutes. That's my father, Rex Evans driving the Wynns Pacific, carrying the rail carraige...! He passed on in 2001 and it's so nice to see him 'in action' again. That's Billy Pocock on the cab roof, guiding him under the bridge. A bit later on, during the unload, there's also a fleeting glimpse of Ken Johnson. Another mate who dad worked with a lot, over the years. All faces and memories from my childhood.... Thanks to John Lauder for putting me onto this clip. Happy Christmas...!

Trig, that's lovely.  Isn't it a warming feeling, making a stranger happy!

The last few days have seen the switch from men panic buying stuff for their wives, to the wives panic buying 227 loaves of bread because the supermarkets are shutting for one day.

Took my son forty five minutes to get into a supermarket the other day, a trip that usually takes about seven or eight minutes.

Made me LOL. Maybe we should start a thread for a similar thing? 'Crouching Avenger Tiger, Holden Drag Car' or this one which is probably easier for my poor Photoshop SKILLZ:

Snow on Christmas Day!

Really? Here in bloody Birmingham, after a couple of days of heavy winds and rain, the weather has returned to being mild again, just bloody mild. Right now there are blue skies and not even a mild hint of wind. Why do we have early October weather in late December?

Exactly the same here in Essex.

Carry On films on ITV3. Barely disguised sexism, barely disguised boobs and plenty of background shite. Just seen some Imp based van affair.

Maybe I'm just too young, but I find the Carry On films about as funny as the rape scene from Irreversible

Half way through a bottle of mulled wine and watching Ghostbusters, with a full belly......life is good.

Tis funny but does look very very dated these days.

Could watch porridge all day long though

I love most of the Carry On films and Hancock's Half Hour but Porridge was the only one that I never really liked. Open All Hours is great though! I'm really looking forward to the Christmas special tomorrow with David Jason returning as Granville. Hopefully it'll be decent, I read Jonny Vegas has a part in it so I hope he doesn't ruin it.

Despite them being played every Christmas for what seemed like forever, I'm missing the Marx Brothers. I'll have to dig the DVDs out soon,  I'll never tire of them, especially this...

I'm not a Doctor Who fan at all but its on the telly and I can't be bothered turning it over.

Must be said that the girl who is the doctors sidekick is seriously hot.
