LOL^Took a day out to properly test the camera, and its really good. If anyone still wants a point and shoot, I recommend the Samsung PL55, it was 89.99 from Comet which is something like £100 off. I managed to find a brilliant piece of tat too, something all the Vauxhall fans will no doubt enjoy....

After hearing a rather strange noise outside, I found this poor little thing hiding under my car

I don't know if she had gotten lost or been dumped but she was tame and very friendly if somewhat scared. Gave her food and water and kept her in overnight. Not the best night's sleep I've ever had, as she wanted to be held all the time or would start mewling non stop. Spent most f the night having my face pawed or licked as she wouldn't sleep anywhere else than right under my chin.

Can't keep her where I am, so took her to the animal shelter next morning. Still, feel like I've done a good deed, even if she did take a dump on my floor

A massive 5GB torrent has just finished dumping a collection of old Top Gears from 1989-1993 on to my hard disc. YES!Also, how mint was the Tour Of Britain? Rally cars on racing circuits? AE86 Corollas being thrashed to death in Ireland ( )? Being waved off by the Environment Minister from the R101 hanger in Cardington?I'd give it a go.

I think I've got most of those.... if I've got any gaps, would you consider filling them in if I post you a usb stick and some beer money?I need to hook my external drive up and see what I've got, I remember downloading GBs and GBs worth of them but can't remember the dates.

If I've got them, no bother. They're not the best quality, but they're very wartchable.

My cat is being fixed! Yay!Its going to be hellishly expensive  and has already required a 4 hr round trip to St Helen's* (he's been referred to a posh vet-hospital) plus the cash for all the pain killers and x-rays so far, and its possible he'll have to have that horrible scaffolding stuff poking out of his leg (I'm squeamish) but he should be ok! Another grin-worthy notion was making him have 6 weeks bed-rest minimum! :o * more grins to be had by hooning along the A55/M56 in the Aggro-animal-ambulance and shocking quite a few overtake-ees :D

My car (not really shite) passed it's MOT with no shit to sort out either. I've not had many cars - 7 - but this is the first i've got an MOT pass with. I'm almost happy.

Jumped on my bike with no idea really where I was going..... 19.9 miles later I ache like fook :)I've been to the highest point in Nottinghamshire (and touched 38mph on my way back down),did Hardwick Hall cos I could see it from said point, had a pint at the pub at the bottom of the road to the hall, bumped into an old workmate whilst drinking said pint, done on-road and off-road, didn't injure myself and although my bike seems to be a little worse for wear, it made it home ok.YAY.

I believe that. She is rather lovely. Can't believe my luck. Every day I wake up next to her, it makes me smile!

EDIT: Currently in negotiations to buy a 1991 Rover Metro GTa.

Later edit. Got the Metro, Mrs Ash moved out this morning and that made room for it in the garage. Oh well every cloud etc.

:lol: Likewise, thanks to Mr & Mrs Trigger for their hospitaility. It certainly made for a pleasant evening for me, picking up a few hundred old magazines and getting to stretch the Laurel's legs a bit on a fine evening.

I was playing around with the CZ yesterday afternoon, and I inadvertantly left the jump leads connected overnight. This has somehow managed to do what my charger failed to do and force some electricity into the knackered battery - not much mind, but enough to power the coil. So I've finally been able to take it for a blez down the road, and it's a right giggle to ride. Surprisingly light and easy to manoeuvre, the engine is pretty flexible for a two-stroke and the overall package is a lot like a small '60s British bike, only with suspension. I think I'm going to enojy ruining the air quality of north east Norfolk over the summer. :D

I've had a GR8 weekend. The LR has been sans-roof this week what with the gorgeous weather and as-of Friday the windscreen was has been folded flat as well. Excellent fun for the 80-mile round trip commute! On Saturday I had the steam roller out and doing a job of work, compacting some road plainings. Then in the evening I took the Audi down to Surrey for my pal's birthday party. My mate Munkie was also there with his Firenza, which is utterly ace.

This is wrong, but I guarantee you'll be humming it for hours....http://existenz.se/out.php?id=17275"SHUT UP WOMAN, GET ON MY HORSE!!!"

If my eyes don't deceive me, the background pic in that video is of Stourhead in Wiltshire, a National Trust garden dating back to the 1700s.I bet the old dears in the souvenir shop would be horrified at that malarkey going on in their stately grounds.

Good weekend all round. Took Lobsta_Jnr for a push around a local country park sorta thing and had an ice cream yesterday, came home and cleaned the SEAT as a treat for passing the MOT then revived the R4 from winter slumber for a Q Park meet today which was a damn pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Came home, made Spag_Bolognese and eated it.11.5/10
