IronStar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 A few folks from the company I work for came down from London HQ, and one of my colleagues brought me a treat. I really wish someone imported this stuff here. Yoss, richardmorris, gm and 5 others 8
Fumbler Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Had to collect a friend from hospital and just had to park next to this absolutely rodgered Caprice. As soon as I saw the door I started laughing. 39 years of a high salt diet will do that to you. richardmorris, eddyramrod, LightBulbFun and 12 others 13 2
DSdriver Posted January 16 Posted January 16 A friend was showing me a photo album of cars he used to own, what particularly piqued my interest was a mini van with side windows and a complete Wolseley front end bodywork grafted on. 5speedracer and eddyramrod 2

DavieW Posted January 18 Posted January 18 A new gents clothing shop opened in the town last summer aimed at a certain clientele. Saw the price of this t shirt and realised why there's never anyone in. Who the F would pay £215 for a t shirt? Tenmil Socket and richardmorris 1 1

Doubt if I’ve even paid more than a fiver for one, definitely not £10 anyway.

Oh absolutely similar here 👍🏻 Clearly there aren't enough insecure enough people with sufficient disposable funds in that neck of the woods for that 'enterprise' to last.. evidently not at the £215 level anyway... wonder how the £139 pitch will turn out 😏🙃 @DavieW keep us posted as & when 😄

Places like this with a few garments on a shelf and a half empty rail = £Bloody expensive. If those shirts were a fiver, even selling out their entire stock every day would barely cover the rent. For further evidence, see Primark.
comfortablynumb Posted January 18 Posted January 18 @cobblers, knowing absolutely nothing about drones, how do you get that sort of footage? I'd probably be giving controlling the drone so much attention I'd drive off the cliff! ( Or more likely into the waterhole you went past!) Mind you, it'd be a hit on YouTube 🤣 Does it have a sort of "follow me ' setting? Erebus 1

You can make it physically move towards you, or just pan the camera. Mine has obstacle detection so you can generally (other than around very bare trees) trust it to fly on its own and not crash into owt. myglaren, Wibble and comfortablynumb 2 1

Interested in getting one but worried it might be a bit of a novelty which will wear off quickly.
