I spotted this brilliantly planned garage and driveway today when out on my bike, didn't get a pic so found on street view. Been there for at least 3 years!

I used to travel quite a bit throughout Europe for my job. I used to say in any city within an hour I could find McDonalds , an “Irish” pub and C&A.

Being in Belgium makes me happy.

Nice covered car parks or interesting car parks make me happy:

Those are BIG parking spaces? Certainly big enough to get the doors open when parked next to a BMW Behemoth (a fun* experience we had just over the border in Lille).
The proper fun experience was in Ghent - having the differences between the Brussels waffle and the Liège waffle explained to use by an enthusiastic restaurant staff complete with assorted, and lush, savoury/sweet toppings - put an a few kilos that day :-)

Yep, I'm aware. They stopped operations in the UK many years ago, but continued in Europe.

Bought my suit from C&A, only about thirty years ago.  It's crap.  Has shrunk in the wardrobe.

I bought a second hand estate car in July and it has had a terrible rattle from the tailgate interior trim since then. I finally decided to investigate.

Turns out that it has been removed before, and two clips hadn't been attached correctly when reassembled. I seated them and now there are no rattles. Easy, quick and free-of-cost. That's how I like my car repairs.

Who else thought it was going to be a squirrel in there?

Had a very productive conversation with Bank of Ireland this afternoon, then sent them a chunk of folding wot I had been saving.  Chaseracer Towers is no longer mortgaged.

Happy I am.

I wanted to get it sorted before the BIG SIX-OH, which is presently thundering over the horizon.

Got those at work. Truck manufacturing.

We've got them in the office. I've learnt the specific angle and placement my hands need to be to make it work properly on dry now, took a while 😂

Is the detection angle and duration adjustable? These drive me insane. 😅

They have those taps fitted at the railway station at Oxford Parkway.

Fitting them above flat, shallow basins basically turns the whole thing into a small but violent upside-down garden sprinkler.

Water everywhere. Everywhere.

Do not recommend.
