Stopping where you are and continuing to enjoy your time off is obviously the sensible thing to do. 👍

Yup looks like I'm staying

Are you warm enough? Can you still make it to the mega breakfast in Monyash?

There's a power cut and the place is shut! It's a toasty 23c in the van so I'm sorted for the day. Onto the emergency all day breakfast in a tin.

Sometimes you just have to appreciate  the simple, free things in life .

Ainsdale beach, winter sun and the dog having the time of her life

The university has some nice buildings - I particularly like the chemistry dept which has three floors on one wing and four on the extension side- same height buildings though so the floors are ramped to meet up.

I posted this on the LDV group about 6 months ago when I bought my speclift which was dead at the time. Still makes me smile so you can have it here too.

Had an enjoyable couple of hours putting my ex-Woolworth shelves together last night:

I like how quicky they assemble and become solid. Now got the fun of restocking them with 250-300 kits and I can bring the rest of the magazines back from the container.

@beko1987 I took the dogs up to Christmas Common yesterday morning for a walk and had to stop just past the M40 to move tree debris from the road!, Emmington also got hit with power lines down.

@beko1987 familiar with that

Yup! My entire arch lip fell off eventually! Then when I broke it up for scrap I pulled the interior out as it sold and the entire floor pan was covered in rusty scabs...

I do t think one can buy a puma that's not either A - Living out it's last/2nd to last MOT in style

B - buy cheap then sink a mahoosive weldathon into it fairly sharpish

I'm sure a C-fully restored option does exist but that's alot of money for a Ford fiesta in drag (as fun as they are)
