While out on my errands there was an unusually high number of courteous and patient drivers both towards me and other road users.  It was just nice to be able to make good progress and everyone seeming to be working together to keep everything moving.  More of this sort of thing, please.

Indeed, Scotland is a great place for combative gay folk.

Ardgay in Sutherland ( 'Ard gay.. geddit?)

Battledykes near Dundee.

2 night is a row I've dreamed that someone was giving me a free classic car and I then forget where the car is located, last night's was an Astra GTE 16v in red, this phenomenon is caused by someone actually giving me an amazing car that is proving hugely complex and stressful to get collected,  the sooner I get the bastard home the sooner I will get a decent sleep

Do I shite, the only roffle I have won on here in 5 yrs was one I didn't even enter

Yes, but then when Saturday comes and goes and you didn't win, you will know the car isn't coming and can get a good night's sleep!

I mean.... if there was an Astra GTE or a Pug 205 GTi in a roffle, that would be grand.

But generally it's a Corsa E or a 405 GL

A 205 GTI would be easily £100 a ticket.  No ta.  Not sure a 205 GTI is really autoshite these days either.  A 206 GTI..

A 405 GL on the other hand, yes please.

Quite honestly, if someone had a 306/307 estate (or whatever they called them) I'd probably buy a ticket or two.

Thundergay and the Battledykes sounds exactly like a Mattel toy and cartoon from the 1980s.

You missed out on my 306 estate roffle last year.  Only 206 GTIs in stock currently.  Maybe a 205 GR in the near future..

Browsing quickly through marketplace and I had to do a double take when I saw this pic, there are better ways of covering a reg

I now have working air con in the Daewoo. After just a recharge.

I have actual A/C that fucking works...

In the most shonky looking car I have ever owned too.

But I don't care. Because it works!

Near effin delirious with joy.

I've found Korean cars in general to have pretty robust A/C systems.  Same with Japanese cars to be fair - about 10 years ago I had a G reg Accord which still had ice cold aircon.  (It also had cruise control, electric windows all round, a sunroof and a 150bhp 2-litre 16v engine, and went like f**k.  I should have kept that car, but my inability to find a replacement for the dodgy ABS pump meant I couldn't get it through a test.)

A/c in Mrs J's 09 Auris had <10% of refrigerant left, hence ineffective. £60 regas sorted it.

My 51 reg Toyota Yaris still had AC that worked fine when I traded it in, even when I forgot to run it in the winter to keep the seals lubricated.

Hidden it, on account of such imagery not being allowed on the forum. It was funny, though!
