Just back, can barely feel my feet.

They sell socks and shoes in shops that'll keep your feet warm and dry and clean in winter you know.

Lady Grumpius and Lady Grumpius' Dad both bought me pornography for Christmas.

From Lady Grumpius:

From her Dad (who used to work as a regional manager for various car hire firms and has a lot of very funny stories):

Got home after a lot of driving last night and remembered these were both in my study, awaiting my perusal.  Good times.

I currently own five cars. A lot for me.

Grin? I'd forgotten where I'd left one of them, and had to drive around looking for it.

Could be worse, one could be hundreds of miles away and you might never have seen it. I've done that twice with roffles and once with several thousands worth of scoobermaroo so far this year.

Should probably be a grump because I need to go back to work soon but just booked a room in central London for £46 on the 2nd - normally £200+

Spotting famous autoshitists makes me grin.

Charlie was in the back waving too, eyeye ("Hello") Rich!

Though I'm not totally sure he actually recognised you from just watching Dacia collection videos.

I'm watching DollyWobbler's latest HubNut adventure. Got autogenerate subtitles on as right ear is all muffled.

Everytime Mrs Wobbler talks or the engine in the Skoda revs, the subtitles just show [MUSIC]

As my passport expired in April I though it was about time I renewed it.

I went onto HMPO's website and done it straight away :)

Slight grump at paying 105 quid though.

Very simple to do, no fannying about getting an approved person to sign the application or recorded post to the embassy in Paris.

Well done HMPO :)

Now if only HM governments recent bung to Brittanie ferries would make a trip to Shite Fest more affordable...

yes drive a bit but still cheaper than yon boat lot

Saw a dark green Citroen C6 in the car park at Morrison's earlier.  I love those barges, even though they're moderns.

I've just got back from a long walk on the moors, in a probably futile attempt to gain some fitness before a ski trip at the end of January.

The grin? Upon arriving back in civilisation*, I walked past a tree-obscured driveway I'd never noticed before that was stuffed with rammel... I was with non-car mates so didn't stop for a nosey, but definitely saw a JRG Mk 2 Granada, a dark green Puma and what might have been either an MX-6 or a Probe under a cat piss tarp. There were others too, but I only had about 0.6 of a second to take it all in.

A C6 that isn't resale silver or black is unicorn fodder; please tell me it had cloth seats and a pez engine for the full house.

Motability car goes back on the 2nd Jan.

But I now have a bit of paper declaring no accident claims in the last 9 years.

Which is not the same as 9 years NCB, but some will accept it.

We shall see.

No idea I'm afraid.  I didn't want to nose around it as only one of the occupants went in and I had already made eye contact.

Just realised a Skoda Favorit would be a great car to have on a 3K a year classic insurance policy

I've had similar off classic policies. Most places wouldn't give me NCD for it the first year, but they gave me a discount equal to that many years NCD...

It's all smoke n mirrors.

Just got a quote from the Meercat £320 for the 75 on a standard policy, with 9 years NCB.

At present around £220 with Peter Best on Classic. But no other car to drive now, and need more than 3000 miles.

You should know by now to stick to the roads. ;)

Is it worth ringing Peter Best and explaining the situation to see if there is anything they can do?

Went down the M6 today to pick my Panasports up.

A massive stretch of the smart motorway works are almost done and the speed limit has been raised to 60 accordingly. Takes a fair bit of time off the slog down to the Midlands - which I end up doing a lot for some reason these days.
