Got sent to London for work to help set up a trade stand, and am now having some beers before heading back to mums to sleep.

Our stand looks shit because they cheaped out on the size...

You’re in Landan and didn’t hit me up for beers? Disgraceful.

I'm back in Marlow now, my boss lives in the village the train stops at so I rushed back there and had 4 pints..

Parky - their doing the business show at the excel. I got asked because if my 10 years experience doing conferences at a hotel... Didn't have the heart to tell them I never set one up, but we did quite well I think with fuck all space and far too many banners!

Kensington Olympia? I recognise the drain pipes on the walls. And the stall frames.

@beko my X5 is from a dealer near Beaconsfield, I’ll be taking the M40/A40 home. Saw signs for Thame. Trust you’ll help me out if it breaks down :D

I drive through Beaconsfield on my way to and from the office, I'm quite good at pointing and laughing if that's a required skill?

I've done the transport for a few shows , that is without a doubt the shittest stand I've ever seen , I'm not even sure a bird with massive tits and a mini skirt could save that one

Are you about tomorrow?

I have far too0 much time to watch telly these days.  Today I've seen a new ad, featuring a chicken walking through a snowy landscape.  I won't give it away, but it's fun.

Saw an X5 wearing the perfect plate, near me X5 CHV, it looked totally buggered but appeared to be moving under its own steam somehow.

We don't have a bird with massive tits... And yep, as soon as we saw the empty stand we sighed the sigh that someone has cheaped out!

Got a piece of old bannister from work. Mahogany I think. Sanded it down and oiled it. Wor lass bought some brackets from B & Spew. I screwed it to the wall. I'm very impressed with the result. Makes a change from plumbing anyway.c85839e320cf4063728da115c3c58716.jpgb42ddf48ead55081ff6c37a3ce942d17.jpg5ff128cb1d4964de3b69e80bc0dd1246.jpg

Tidy job, that. Amazing how nice an old piece of wood can look when the old brown stain's taken off.

We've been using a weathered scaffold plank retrieved from a skip as a mantelpiece for a while now; no-one seems to have noticed yet... shiteshelves FTW.

We're the same - people think it's 'shabby-chic'  - it'd probably go for hundreds in a hipster part of London.
