I've just been reminded of this video. Retro Rides Gathering in 2009.

Next gathering is 20th August at Shelsley Walsh, and the 2CV will be in action once again! After I've taken her to Ireland. Anyone else planning to go? Moan about 'the blue' all you like, but the Gatherings remain a cracking day out.

Watanabe is back until further notice.

Fuck you all.

I have put Watanabe back in stasis.

He sorted something out that was vexing me. Watanabe - who still exists -  isn't as mustard as EvilNastyWarrenTClaim but he's still enough of a cunt to do things alcyonecorporation/George Burns/Deedoodle The Duck can't.

Thank you for your co-operation.

I think he's just outed himself as having multiple log in accounts. Presumably as a result of multiple personality syndrome.

Just looked on the MOT checker website and now you dont even need to know that the car make!

Am I sad typing in random registration plates and seeing what is wrong with people's cars?

Possibly, but you're not alone

Nice to see a dinky classic hardly filling a car parking space.

You need to move the blue bucket closer for the second shot, and a bit more out of focus. Ideal for gumtree.

Following on from Joey Spuds tyre pressure gauges this is mine. The wooden box is numbered to match the gauge and the reverse side of the Certificate of Accuracy has spaces to be be filled in when it has its free services, it seems I'm still entitled to two. A tyre pressure gauge with service history? :-D.  Times have changed....

As I've already found on more than one occasion Jon!  It's worth coming back time after time, or even just staying here.  It's home.

The 'poverty spec' fridge at the local supermarket is a great place to pick up cheap shit and, heck, even meet pop* stars.

Reminds me of a story of a starstruck Fall fan who, upon stumbling upon some near out of date pork-related product, was dumbfounded to come face to face with a former drummer from the band. "Hey, aren't you Karl Burns ?" To which the reply came "Yes I am, and those are my sausages" (removing said near out of date pork-related product from the mitts of starstruck fan),

People being offended & asking for my comments to be removed from the conspiracy thread.

It does make me laugh when you just say what their holy books mean & they find it offensive, errrrm it's what you claim to believe.

Volvo just passed its MOT with no advisories, that's the 2nd car in a month  :-D .As a reward,I'm leaving it there for them to fix the worn exhaust mountings which I was sure it would fail on anyway.

Several times now, I have successfully printed documents at home. Printers usually make me so angry that I thought I should probably report an actually-positive experience. Mind you, it does munch its way through black ink rather quickly. So I made the text very dark blue...

Car came in for MoT yesterday. The chap had just replaced the advisory tyre from last year with a previously enjoyed one from some second hand tyre place in town. The inside sidewall was cracked and perished. No need to work out the date stamp it was a Kleber made in WEST Germany.Must have been 15 years older than the car itself.

Made me smile when I told the chap to go back to the tyre place and get a tyre from this century.
