Good grief 23, when it all started to turn to shit. Moved to Cheshire and sold my collectshun.

At one point though I am pretty sure I had this lot

1974 P6 2200SC sold to a mate at work

1964 Ford Anglia 105E - my first car - never should have sold it for £1k yep 1k for a 64 Ford Anglia in 1989

1965 Ford Anglia 105E shed sold through local paper for £50

1972 Triumph Staaag sold for 3k to a dealer in Cheshire. he gave me proper filthy looks everytime I saw him after that

1973 Triumph 1500TC - Gave to my bro, who gave it to my Grandpops who moaned like hell about a free car so Dad sold it for £300

1989 Mk2 Cavalier 1.6L company car winner of the "70mph indicated in 2nd gear" never thrashed... when it was parked up

Woke up and let out a top quality curry fart. Then remembered I was at Kinky Girl's, and I've just woken her up. She lets out two parps and says Thirty fifteen.

The girl's a keeper.

To contribute to the somewhat random 23 year old posts, this is me and my car aged 23.  Or maybe 22.

23 ? I would have had an ex mod mk4 escort 1.6 diesel estate or a zx1.9d . Escort was a better car in every respect bar the terminal rot .

I was also riding a 2001 sv650s

I just had 2x 400e Thames vans and half a dozen motorbikes at 23

I started with a Barn find Karmann Ghia.

Then redundancy and I reverted to type and acquired a Morris Marina 1.8 Coupe. (Sorry no photo).

New job meant I spunked all my cash on a (knackered) Golf Cabriolet.

At 23 I probably had an Opel Ascona B 1.6S, I got to that via a Ford Escort MK2 1100 van, Renault 12TL, Ford Capri MK1 1600 GT XLR and a Ford Cortina MK2 1300 from the Ford Escort 1100 in my avatar in about 1980.

My p38 Range Rover has magically fixed itself.

It's an lpg'd v8, it would start, get warm, switch to lpg and I'd manage 4 miles on lpg and then it would make an annoying beep and switch to petrol and suck my wallet and no amount of dicking about would get it to go back to lpg

I thought yesterday was a fluke but For two whole days, it's has switched on to lpg and run perfectly

At 23 I had this beauty - mighty 1.4 'Energy' super plush RT spec

Must have been around that time that we were a 3 Renner family. Dad had a 25 txi and Sis had a 5 for her first car. Still got the square sump key in the toolbox.

I cant remember what I had for lunch yesterday, never mind what car I had 15 years ago.

EDIT - Wait, I won a new Daewoo Matiz in 2000, which I chopped in for a mkIII Astra Sport, so that. Five door, metallic black. 1.6 16V. Nice car.

At 23, I ditched my rusty 1275cc Maestro (unkillable) and my Audi S2 Coupe (bankrupting) in favour of a £395 309 Goodwood GTI (hoontastic).

Oh, and this is my 6666th post!

Just unexpectedly been to look at a dream house that is for sale.  Chap opened the garage door so we could have a look.  Garage contained a Rover 600.  I didn't mention that I found this interesting in case he thought me weird and it counted against any potential sale.

Edit: I've just googled for the length of a Rover 600.  It is 8" longer than a Morris Oxford.

Remember me moaning about my colleague and his CRV? Well he's borrowed money from his missus and is buying an entire exhaust system from euro car parts! I'm off to help him fit it on saturday (close enough to ECP to jump into the xantia if we find a wrong part and go hit them over the head with it as and when). I'm expecting it to be not bad, any hints and tips with CRV exhausts?

The air jet for the Renault's carb appears to be correct and appears to fit, woohoo!

Someone in the Netherlands has found the correct radiator for the Renault IN STOCK for not-a-lot, DOUBLE-WOOHOO!

My neighbours Series 3 Land Rover that I replaced the footwells in has just been for MOT and came away with a pass and no advisories.

The tester was very complimentary about it as well.

Fairly sure it's Nick Cave if that's what you were looking for.  It just made me laugh the kid doesn't know who he is but thought he should get a pic anyway.

EDIT - looks as if the whole thing's a joke anyhow.
