Edit: OK so it was either an '86 mk1 Micra 1000 in red and rust, an '89 Renault 5 with the world's hardest clutch or some random one as we (family) had a garage.

23 for me would have been 2004 and spent in a Star Silver Astra Bertone Coupe. Still a damm good looking car, reminds me, must look at the price of the 888 racing edition I really wanted at the time instead of the 1.8 misery spec I had.

At 23 I couldn't afford the 2 buckets to be a 2 bucket wanker never mind a flash car to clean. I was still making structural repairs to my cars using socks covered in fibre glass.  A young lad at my work bought a GT86 on some huge monthly payment then less than 12 months later lost his license for 15 months for doing doughnuts outside a local shopping centre and it's been sitting in his parent drive ever since.
