John Shuttleworth driving his Austin Ambassador Y reg around Jersey on Sky Arts 1 HD right now!

Hey Trig, do you know what happened to that guy who was interested in the Ambo in the scrapyard near me? I messaged him to ask if he had gone to look at it, but he never got back to me. The car has gone now, it's still showing as taxed on the DVLA database (but uninsured) so I'm wondering what's happened to it.

Peter, that is ace! Normally that sort of deterioration isn't so delightfully accurate on toy cars.

Went to a toy fair and picked up some 80s Corgi tat. I am particularly impressed with the authenticity on this Escort:

Absolutely marvellous.

Could you tell when the adverts at the beginning end and the film starts? I had that problem with the last one

Was it 'Southern Softies'? Any good? Not seen it yet. I enjoyed his other 'rockumentaries'.

Bittorrent FTW, and for the Bond movie.

Just wakened up from a really really bad dream. I was in a big tall building, in a stairwell. My girlfriend Patricia was in the stairwell, but behind a pane of glass. She was banging on the glass, screaming "HELP ME!" and there was a big fire behind her. I was trying to smash the glass with my gun, but it wouldn't break and my gun wouldn't fire.

I woke up shaking, and with my heart racing.

The grin? Katie was holding me so tight I thought I'd choke. I woke up to her saying "It's OK, it's OK don't be afraid. Whatever is wrong you can tell me, whatever it is I will always love you. Shh! It's OK"

We humans are so suggestible-my hand feels like I've punched a rock, even though I was only dreaming about hitting a pane of glass. Weird, frightening and lovely all in about 1 minute.

Stiff drink required!

I know he said he went to look at it but I haven't a clue what happened, I'm pretty sure he didn't buy it though or I'd had seen something about it on facebook, you could try sending him a message asking? http://www.facebook.com/colin.coleman.182

Yep, that's the one, It was a bit odd really, must be northern humour or something as it was funny for just being every strange! On the plus side there a fair bit of Ambassador action and he sings Austin Ambassador Y reg to a disinterested crowd of elderly people.

I can't believe this open discussion of piracy. Illegal downloading is killing home taping. So do the right thing. Tape an appalling pan & scan version off ITV onto a tired Scotch VHS.

VIDEO PIRACY FUNDS BANGER RACERS AND KITTEN MURDERERS!

Always amuses me that these OMG UR SO IN TRUBBLE warnings are always on the legitimate copies.

Thanks to modern technology it is possible to download a film in less time than it takes to watch the unskippable warnings about piracy.

A lot of the time if I fancy watching a film I already have on DVD, I'll download it anyway because it saves getting up and digging the DVD out of the cupboard.

These signs made me grin on holiday, not just because of the incomprehensible Welsh. May contain traces of Health & Safety nonsense/truth: at most castles you can actually climb the towers up to great heights without substantial barriers holding you back... 25 metres high and just a few stones that come up to your knees. And then you go to the toilets and trip over all the 'slippery floor' signs and break your neck.

My BX just sailed through the MOT without advisories. If I died now, it'd take the mortician two hours to get the grin off my face.

Pistonheads style logo so the cars probably being ruined to use as a "track slag" or some "Ring" car, surprised there's no Ring logo sticker.

Just won a working Rolleicord for £28.

I'd imagine track or drift use, given the towing hook is also painted red to stick out.

There were some E36s drifting at Santa Pod last weekend, most of them sounded very poorly and looked to have been pulled out the scrappy (or headed there soon after the event). Mush amusement was had when someone in a Suzuki Cappuchino did way better than any of them, skill over power and slack-jawedness.

Was an excellent day of shite. Dad took the lead in his Bradford Taxi. We helped a chap with a new-ish Landrover that decided to eat a belt with its fan as it came into the service station by providing a torch, because we didn't have anything else of use to get him on his way. It was hilarious for some reason... I don't have a picture of that, so here's a picture of the mini shitefest at a service station somewhere.
