I always bought HP printers as they always just worked with Linux.

Except the last one, a laser printer.

I had to email the files to HP in the USA and it was then formatted fir the printer and emailed directly to it to be printed.

Only took a few seconds longer than direct printing though.

Then my grandson had some of his artwork to print.  Sent from his phone to the printer, worked perfectly.

But that was the last time it printed anything, it just rattled and moaned after that, asked to be restarted and dit the same again.

There was a message came up on the screen that grandson responded to, don't know what it was but that finished it off.

We all know this is a Chrysler Talbot Sunbeam Lotus. According to Carly or whatever its called, its just a sunbeam lotus. Wrong, can they not see the badge on the bonnet that reads 'Talbot' (or indeed the Chrysler logo proudly sittin gin the middle of the grille)

I've got a beam in a bedroom of my house like that.

There's no supports along the length of it at all, just each end.

The house is 300+ years old, so I'm not going to worry about it. Its more of a pain that EVERYONE in the house has hit their head on it at some point 😁

Bin men came round yesterday, emptied our recycling bin.

I went out a few minutes later, and they're just up the road, doing their usual reversing up the lane to the next cottages to get the bins there.

About an hour and a half later, I came back down the road, and saw said bin lorry still there, albeit at a jaunty angle.

Moral of the story - when reversing up the narrow lane, keep it on the black bit, and not in the ditch,!

Sorry, no pics, I was driving

Only sold as the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus as the Peugeot take over happened before the Lotus version of teh Chrysler Sunbeam ti was released.

I had a dream last night that I had to replace my Saab 95 (can't remember why) but before I had chance to find a new car, I was contacted to say I had inherited a Rover 75 from a long lost relative who had died unexpectedly

Managed to wash the car today, that's a recovery milestone achieved as I'd been physically unable to do it since I fell ill a few months ago.  I even had enough energy left to do the traditional jingling up of the car.  Hoping to get out to do my Griswold run later to complete the festive video for this year.
