When I was taking the bicycle out of the garden shed earlier, I had a spectator.

Adnams Broadside - 12x0.5 Litre bottles (just over a pint) purchased for $50 Aus dollars (about £27) in the local bottle shop this lunchtime. That's a bit over £2 a pint IN AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Sad only 8 bottles left now, wife not happy, I am though.

Google's suggestion for how I can get to the Festival of the Unexceptional. Hm, which option to choose?

Like many Scotch fellows I was guilty in the past of thinking everywhere in the South of England was close by. I was down in Folkestone with my old work and they asked me to nip over to Plymouth before coming home. No bother I thought, just along the road..... It took about 6 hours.

Healthier than cycling.

I've never heard of anyone carking it eating a fry up.

For the record, I fucking love a proper fry up.

Black pud, fried eggs, bacon, toast, beans.

It's not a fryup without black pudding & fried slice.

Or if north of the border, fried slices of haggis, now that is tasty.

I've finally hit the 4 and a half stone point at Slimming World. This half stone bracket has seemingly taken ages but I got there in the end. I'm still a fat git though.

I was really angry when I heard the Lloyds bank cover for the 1st time. The original was the break-up song during a really painful split from my ex in 1996 & still brings back a lot of memories good and bad  :-(

EDIT... NSF Breakfast

A friend has been on Shortland Street a couple of times.

Anyway my grin, impromptu convoy with a Bedford CF1 camper going M25/ M23. I think the camper had the edge on the transit but in my defense I was hauling close on 3 ton with scrap, rubbish and toolage as well as my big lunchbox on board

If only the anti gravel paint I ordered would have turned up before this weekend I'd designated some time to tidying the sills up on the Mondeo and a thorough rustproofing session on the Focus. Find doing stuff like that immensely satisfying.

Today I have been cheered up by YouTube star and all-round mad scientist Photonicinduction reappearing after nearly a year of not uploading anything.  Certainly my favourite YT channel.

Happened to look out the window and a Renault 9 trundled past. B944 FUY. What do I miss when I'm not looking.

Just got home and sitting outside sweating, when this went directly overhead.

Wacka Wacka !

Exactly. Off to odiham base I expect. I see convoys of two or more sometimes, but never right overhead before. I thought it was Granny Liz coming to visit the family to start with as the burgundy helicopter makes a similarly loud noise on landing, when this came over the roof!

Never forget seeing them fly extremely low over our house when I was younger. Must have been no more than 50ft above the roof. So low, you could see the cockpit lights and the pilot moving the control stick. Didn't half make the whole house shudder.

Used to live near Salisbury plain and a big hill right near us (Coombe Gibbet) had a old hangman's cross at the top. So I guess it made a perfect landmark on which to navigate and turn around by.

Fuck me.

(Not even the extended Phantom.)

I watched that last night it’s rather a disgusting automobile. They also seem to have adopted Lexuses varnished crunchie look wood trim.

2cv and focus passed their mot tests today. Whoop.

Sold a few of my old MX5 parts to a young Asian lad from Blackburn. His picture could have been a Wikipedia entry for Chav but a nicer guy you couldn’t wish to meet. Real genuine guy and a pleasure to deal with, as the old saying goes ‘never judge a book by its cover’. And a load of space in my shed now.
