Jaguar XJ6?

Has to be.

Many years ago when I lived in Bristol I once enjoyed* the sight of the landlord of this welcoming* establishment emerging at about 10am in his baggy Y fronts, fag dangling from gob, to fetch something from the gold XJ6 parked in front:

Not a pretty sight, either of them.

The new “classic” arrives tomorrow. But what?

Answers on a postcard. Clue- Pub landlord transportation.

I think it depends where the pub is.

Could be a Leyland minibus. Plenty of pub landlords got into scrapes with the polis and were 'taken to the station to help with enquiries'

I hope it's BL whatever it is. The Roundel of Win

It's either a ULEZ refugee late 90's Corolla [seen loads of these about lately.] or a yank tank. 🙂

It's like a disease isn't it?

Don't worry, I also have the same problem 😁

I'm going to take a left-field punt and say Cadillac Seville STS. Although these are perhaps more "failing nightclub owner" than pub landlord, unless it's a flat roof pub.

Buh is also a Suffolk word for ‘mate’, I’d choose that definition.

Where most of the country would say “what is going on mate? In Norfolk you say “Wossgornon buh?”
