Cheapest one I can find online for sale right now is £1000 more! Is it really that bad? Certainly doesn’t look like it. I can’t take a whole day out of my life to get this, which is frustrating but pretty typical.

Wartburg 1.3s for sale, one of the last made in 1990. IFA made under lisence vw engine ( 4 stroke) Lovely car, very nice paint, very nice interior, runs and drives a treat. I was told the sunroof needed looking at, I've left it alone and it doesn't leak. No rust bubbles on the body and nice filler free wheel arches etc. I'll put up some proper pics this weekend. A brilliant curiosity you could rock up to a car show in as is and be very happy. Thought I'd offer it on here before I try car and classic, test drives/ border crossings/Stasi stake outs etc welcome.
