Hey, a car like mine!

They are alright actually, I love mine. Yours even has the same cheap nasty floor mats mine came with! Mine were changed asap for proper carpet jobbies, got some proper rubber mats on the way.

Your BMW is exactly the same as mine bar the colour and CD player differs to mine, mine has the cassette player and 6 CD-changer in the boot.

GaryBaldy - If that scrapped e46 is still there, can I have the rear right-hand door frame finisher. It's a piece of matt-Black metal trim that runs above the door frames. The rear piece is a piece on its own. Could do with a non-ripped gear gaitor.

Good luck with this will be watching with interest. If you are planning to get rid, could I have first dibs please. Ma_Sterling loves my car and has been making suggestions about getting one like mine.

You can get a good one of these for £6-700 so I wouldn't go mad. I'd be inclined to clean it up, stick it on Bumtree for £150 with a load of lies like how much you love it but no time etc... in no time it'll be on a trailer to Romania.

Garbaldy, I'd be interested in the passenger side front wing if it's saveable on that one, mines knackered.

The question that no one has asked ... how much did the parental unit pay for that wonderful* example of German engineering?

These have possibly the worst engine BMW ever made. I bought the Mrs one before any research. Looked at 2 one with the old engine one with the new one. Bought the one with the new engine which was a terrible, terrible mistake. The only car I've ever really "lost" on after spending £1000 putting it right.

Hopefully that's a good one :)

More than £400?

Higher or lower Brucie?

I shall say bang on half way between your guess and the price I paid for mine.

£200

£275?

Surely a bargain for the only Ratlook Beemer to be sponsored by Gardeners World.

Conor informed me today that a mate of his cannot sell an E46 332i with long test, coilovers and an LSD for £400.

ENJOY!

My brother had one like that, the ABS light came on and it cost over a grand to fix.  Still, you might be alright, there's always a chance.

Fuck me, that's some expensive black insulating tape.

Why was it hidden under some leaves? Was the previous owner a fucking massive Hedgehog or something?

He is gonna be pissed when he emerges from hibernation next spring
