The Reverend Bluejeans
That's a fairly early N42 B20, Valvetronic of oil leaks. If it's smoking, the rings are shagged - common on neglected ones. Plus the usual E46 shite - rust, brake pipes, rust, door locks, wishbones, rust etc. A solid one does drive well but if it's burning oil, don't spend a bean more than is necessary to MOT it. I've got a 2007 E90 with this engine, just replaced the timing chain assy at 100k. Great when they run properly, fucking horrid when they don't. inconsistant
I really want to see how well the car scrubs up. As far as I can tell, it looks to be pretty sound under the gunge.Hopefully for political neutrality there will be remains under the leaves. loserone, Lacquer Peel and Parky
richardmorris
I hadn't thought before, but could you take it to somewhere where poor benighted east Europeans offer to wash and polish the car for a £5 and leaf them to it for an hour? Isaac Hunt
Excellent One of the first to get a Christmusthave Tree, a For Lawn Bee Emm. Well done, you can get a minter that only needs fuel for a Grand, a runner with test but scabs for a Monkey, but it ent true full on Autoshite 'fun' and certainly no Bush Tucker Trial. By Monday it's gleaming and ready for a re-test then.
