Well what have I bought in the cold light of day. Apparently a pretty decent running, slightly tatty E51 Elgrand. Last owner had it for 6 years. Body kit has a few bumps and cracks, (they all have), tailgate needs replacing (was reversed into a skip). Sourced one but backed out until I get home as it had a dent in it. bodywork otherwise is pretty decent, electric door doesn’t (tadts), radio is off and abs light is on. All fixable bits, going to use if over the summer as a camper as I have in the past. Pleased with my purchase so far. Driving home 3 hours now so will see how I go!

ELGRANE Its been a while….as the countries premier Elgrand shifter @worldofceri has gone into retirement from making loaaaadddsssaaa money moving cars I had to collect it myself. 280,000 km, a bit of test, drives well enough, wants a good clean out and a tailgate as it’s creased. more info as I find it!! Not buying or selling any cars in 2024 is continuing to do well. Currently on a train heading south with Mrs Robson3022 and Autoshite hound Ralph. Estimated journey time 4 hours with a 1 hour stop in Peterborough. Poo count 0 Brekie was £15 for two toasties a coffee and an orange juice! Vehicle I'm on the way for is as economical as most of my purchases.

Ola, Little request!!! I need a diff and transfer box for the X3. Someone in Solihull has both of these but is collection only and isn’t keen for me to organise a courier/pallet collection. Is there anyone who could collect them for me and I’d organise a pallet collection for them? Obviously a few beer sheckles will be thrown there way.

Well after saying to the Mrs I wouldn’t chop and change or mess with cars and that we would deffo keep the RR……I’ve just done the easiest deal in the world with top shitter @bangernomics. Will be seeing if the Mrs wants to run this as she keeps complaining about the bigger stuff. @bangernomics did tell me a little fib mind as he said the polo does 70mpg and it’s currently only showing 68.5!!!! Stopped for some tea! 130,000, miles allegedly 350bhp certainly feels quick. spare set of 19” wheels included break light and tyre light on. break light is a disconnected sensor, it’s got run flats so I’m guessing something a miss there. Turns out the Haldex is disconnected so it’s FWD 🫣 Thanks to @NorthernMonkeyfor getting it on the ramp for a look. This is definitely a keeper (I know, I know). Haldex are £300 ish so will fettle that, service, then chip away at little bits to try and make it mint.

After asking you fine people for some help with a luxurious auto, unusually you were no help at all!! So I have sourced my own. Couple of hours away so I’m on the way. Vehicle of choice the TT. I really like the TT but I’ve got no justification to keep it. It’s too small, can’t put a car seat in it or the dog. I’m breaking a cardinal rule in buying a car from Keighly but I sort of know the seller. Car I’m buying is auto, luxurious, bigger and quicker than the TT and also 4x4
