Event Classic Stony 5th June (now haz pics!)

Anyone planning to attend this? These free shows in Stony Stratford always attract a massive turnout and lots of interesting stuff. I'll be there with my dad, sadly not as exhibitors though..

I like these type of shows.  Charging a fee to display your car is bad form though - even if it is 100% for charity - when spectators can mooch around for free.

It's usually a good show with stacks of variety.  Parking is the only problem, whether spectating or exhibiting. It is very popular.  I may attend as a spectator and trundle in from the outskirts on my mobility scooter.

I am at Gaydon in the morning with my Rover 114 at a Metro gathering and in the afternoon at Onley with my BMW 325i at a BMW Club Central area outing.

I took some photos too, although it was so bright in places that any cars parked in a shadow had to have the levels twerked about violently so I apologise for slightly weird edits. Phone cameras appear to be able to handle this better than a muppet with a powerful camera....

 

 

Phwooooaarrr.....155k, every panel fucked, 2.0 16v "Club" spec (basic spec + spokey wheels if I remember correctly), lacquer literally falling off....

 

 

This thing was just....insanity
