It's on an axle stand, and the exhaust looks to be hanging down. Has someone done some work on it there or pulled the engine and gearbox and now abandoned it?

Agreed. The amount of shite all over the road and pavement suggests the owner is/was a serial tinkerer over a sustained period of time. Maybe the fella passed on?

Not a dumped car, but...

IMG_8807.thumb.JPG.b4b873ce7fb7b4b3972f4c7e3679755f.JPG

Spotted on tuesday, but was still there yesterday

IMG_8808.thumb.JPG.be7db43a477485903c5423ab589b0d0d.JPG

Anyone know what sort of bus this is?

IMG_8812.thumb.JPG.7b09a0eb3fea88b7bda12f3377b53d10.JPG

I assume they aren't worth anything

IMG_8817.thumb.JPG.8a25a4e9343f5b7fa56f7db7b200ba99.JPG

I saw it when out for a ride

IMG_8819.thumb.JPG.19de70cbe2474ba036f3c23b650533cf.JPG

Not sure how it got here, it's in a mess inside

IMG_8820.thumb.JPG.2ca37f2b1e20e6f3d74cd589f369c71b.JPG

The drivers seat is there though

IMG_8821.thumb.JPG.6ee8d62a8b59589c311aaed45573b938.JPG

So do you think it drove here or was towed?

Weird. Looks like it was on Muppetplace in September 2023. Someone's made some effort to reassemble parts in the meantime. I wonder if it was being towed and there was an issue?

It's been dumped there after yet another hipster realised that more work was needed to convert it into a camper. I hate these cunts.

It failed to sell on ebay a few months ago and now it's been converted into someone else's problem.

It looks too far gone to restore and the VR isn't an especially rare bus.

So many car adverts recenrly have  had people who have experoenced a 'change in circumstances'.

I was interested in a Saab 93 TTID recently, for sale for this very reason. After a few messages then owner admitted they had been banned from driving.

Another one is that it's much more fucked than they first understood, or they didn't check insurance quotes first.

The best one is that 'my wife doesn't like it', didn't you check first mate?

Used to happen a lot in my family. My dad always felt he knew best and would buy my mum a brand new car without even mentioning it.

She would prefer the car she already had and therefore he would have to sell the new one a couple of months later.

The Bristol VR is all over facearse pages now, so the light fingered crew will undoubtedly have it away soon enough. Someone posted this, so it indeed looks like someone had grand plans without the grand budget.

That would tie up with @FakeConcern's general location, but I don't know exactly where he saw it.

It’s code for ‘I’ve bought it and it’s fucked’.
