Nova continues to fester around the corner to my house. Amusingly they've aimed a camera at it from inside the top window

Near the 'castle' site and Haroldslea green lane? They were actually pretty decent when I first noticed them there 20? years ago

Going by the SRin badge I think I can make out that will have considerable value even if it's just for parts, so they are probably a bit sick of people poking around it and hoping being on film will deter someone with a hiab.

What looks like a montego and MK2 astra at an old quarry in Worcestershireshire.

There is a mini and another car a bit further up also.

Stolen and dumped I assume, wonder why they were never recovered?

The Montego appears to have rusted less under water!

This is it about a week later. I wonder what happened since?

I went past this last week and it looks much the same, I was in Mrs Concern's car so no dash cam or pic.

There's now another caravan pushed close up to the back of it.

There's a nice* one cheap in the for sale section. Save me from buying it and robbing it of it's engine....

V6 Ghia - 133.000 miles  Mot fail in 2015 for Rust / Brakes / Suspension / Horn / Lights. Looks like it would have been a smart looking car then. Shame.

There's a MK4 Escort RS Turbo sat on a drive near me, been there years. Quite surprised it's not been lifted or sold given what fast Fords sell for

Body kit probably worth a few quid. Whip those off and once round the ring is its next step.

I'm guessing that's Shavers End? They aren't very friendly with people mooching round there now.

Reset button on steering wheel obviously broken.

I always turned off that silly rewind function in the Forza games. I live with my bad choice of racing lines, like a man! You'd also get more money for having fewer assists switched on...

That's usually the case. It has been exposed to far less oxygen and salt than other Montegos that continued being used

  • 2 weeks later...

Definitely not in my area, but I spotted this rather sad looking Series 3(?) Land Rover outside the U.K. Most Northerly Secondhand Bookshop on Shetland while on holiday up there a couple of weeks ago. Plenty of other chod slowly rotting away on drives up there too.
