I bet they'd give at a proper feature and wite up, the multi page features not just the little 'readers cars' bit. You should definitely try! Cool Lambretta, a mate from work has one he used to run daily. He gets really pissed off when I keep calling it a moped!I'd be interested in a thread on here if you decide to start on yours.

He had a peashooter 'snake style' around & up & over. Plate was 3x3 - no suffix. On his own with a fairly hefty camping pack on the back. Mirrors were 'minimalist'.. best for looking at traffic He roared off... the exhaust2x smell gave me a woodie!! I presume some 'hot' brit 50/60's affair TS DeeJay 1

All the work you've done looks fantastic, simple as. What are the plans for the interior/back seat - was it sun damaged? And as for the Lambretta, do you still ride it? I spy an SX200 type front disc brake... I bought my 67 SX150 eight years ago, had some fun with it, then left it in the garage with a cover on it. I was toying with the idea of selling it the other day as it deserves to be used. Then Mrs TW suggested it was probably better than money in the bank, and I've owned it for years, unlike everything else I purchase/sell after I get bored. They appear to be retained by stainless screws... Either through a factory hole or by rigid clamping. I'm looking to remove them to lather Waxoyl along seam edges & refit. I bet the screws have a stainless nut on the 'blind side' TS

The top of the back seat is sun bleached. As soon as I can get hold of some suitable fabric, plans will be made to re cover all of the seats so it all matches. The Lambretta hasn't been ridden since last Summer as I intended to fettle it last year. The arrival of the Cavalier scuppered that idea as it kind of jumped the queue. This Lambretta has parts from all series 3 models - the frame is Li 150, engine block, forks and bodywork are TV 200, crank and front brake are GP 200, cylinder is SX 200, and it even sports a few series 2 odds and ends. It's a proper bitsa! Well, That was a surprise to find!I step away from the forum for a few weeks and you go and finish it This car looks stunning, You have done an excellent job and if I were you I would be extremely happy with the finished car! The mudflaps will most likely be going on soon too. If the weather forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend is correct, I should get it all done over the weekend!
