Trigger, can you do a photoshop of yourself in a thong dressed as Harry Potter, next to the Cavalier please?

Thank you.

Seems a shame to sell.......isn't another lock up or budging the roof on the cards?

I have another one, but it can't go in there, sadly. I'm going to try and bodge the roof, but it's pretty much knackered.

Raffle!

(Andy likes Cavaliers...)

I'd love to, but the tickets would be expensive!

I'm currently pretending I haven't seen a Cavalier Mk2 convertible for sale about 35 miles away from here.

Fancy a swap for a Saab 93 :)

Sorry, chief, loved that car but it's an itch that I've scratched now.

Posted

A snip - also a more interesting alternative to a mk IV cortina.

And a much better car. I drove one on an R plate in 1985, that light metallic green and found it to be a very pleasant car indeed.

Oddly enough I looked into shipping (another car) to Australia a couple of years back, I think it was something like £1600 on the open deck.

Can't do that. A powder blue Mark 1 Cavalier will be like a red rag to a Somali Pirate.

Apart from the buyer, it'd be absolutely ace to see live footage of some people on a home made raft of old pallets flying the Jolly Roger paddling away with the Cavalier on board.

Or better still, if Conrad depicted this scene via the medium of art.

R U SAYIN METTTALIC GREEN IS BETTERER THAN WOT BLUE IS M8?

I gave this a once over with some budget T-cut today, it's still for sale. I did have someone interested (on another website) but he's spent the last month being 'on his way down' and I'm not going to chase him about it.

It's had four new (matching) tyres, there is a matching loose one in the boot and there's a few engine related spares, looks like rotor arms and what have you in the boot.

*I will do a pretty good discount for a 'shiter!*

That looks really good and so rare now, where did they all go?  GLWS.

Billy, you're taunting me.  That looks lovely.

It's a real beauty alright, I'd love it for just going to work and back in but I can't afford it or justify it and it's not paticularly local either so I'll have to let someone else live my dream for me.

This took me one month and one day.

Peter, you have caught the dog's expression of long-suffering disdain very well...

Go on Trig, Chester can't be more than four hours away in a Cortina.

Surely you stand a much better chance of shifting with a picture of Barbara Cartland inside it

My dad had one of them. Was the first car I (accidently) spun when I was 17. (Excuse mode on: Was more used to my Mini:  Excuse mode off).

Shameless taking of thread back to first page post.

It would make a nice friend for your mk3 Tina trigger

Has Trigger bought this yet?

If not, why not?

[Reads News 24 thread]

Edit:  Ah, maybe that's why not.  Tentative congratulations Trig, hope all goes well for you.  Ideal family car though, a Cavalier.

Sold :(

It's replacement is so horrible, I'm probably going to punch myself in the face when I see it (again)
