  2. My 1.8 (Spanish) I owned in about 2004. Superb handling. Loved pretty much everything about it. Ended up chopping it in for an absolutely mint WRX
  3. Wow - Chevette HS last week, Lotus Sunbeam this week - superb!
  4. Spotted this on my Saturday walk. Looks as though hasn’t moved for a while and has a few infringement notices on the windscreen so things not looking too promising for it 😢
  5. Is that a genuine Chevette HS?
  6. I have owned 2 examples. A spotless Topaz 1.6 GTi G88UGG which I bought off a trader in Glasgow chopping in a Capri 1.6 Laser. The second was an L reg Inca 1.9 Derv 3dr in blue metallic. Now currently running the GTi’s younger cousin!
  7. Yup - GT was definitely sold new in UK
  8. Funnily enough I spotted this at the weekend. Remember think how cool these S40 estates were when they came out
  9. Parky I drove through your manor on Friday during my mammoth VTS collection adventure. Sadly I was on a tight schedule otherwise would have popped in to say Kia Ora
  10. 3 more S1 Landies spotted today and 2 Jowett Javelins
  11. Made it back home to Auckland after 1113km's. Delighted with the VTS - been looking for another one for absolutely ages
  12. Sounds like I missed you by about 5 mins!
  13. So many old cars still being used for a living on South Island! For example on two separate occasions yesterday I saw Series One Landys working for a living
  14. I reckon this one drives even better squire!
  15. Leg 1 5 hour drive completed. Now on ferry with Leg 2 7 hour drive tomorrow
  16. Apparently they brought 30 VTS into the country and 10 were given away as prizes by the National Bank
  17. About to head over to The Mainland for new French collection in Christchurch and then roadie back home via ferry to Wellington
  18. This is the pure essence of Autoshite for me! Get the wheel trims off and rid of the rubber duck aerial and jobs a good un!
  19. Wow - I remember that Escort you mention. And yes had a bit of fun with that 1300E - mostly on forestry roads on the Black Isle 😉
