Hello...Im new to here

Even though I signed up last year, I haven't actually posted anything on here before. So I thought I better say something, as I met a few of you guys at the Stondon Museum yesterday.

 

So this is my current fleet, as you can see, I'm a bit of a Ford fan...

 

My Sierra 1.6 GL, so good I've owned it twice

 

My Cortina 1.6 GL, bought a hour before it was going to be Hiabed off the owners drive for scrap

 

My Granada 2.0. L, now back on the road for summer

 

My Orion 1.6 Ghia

 

Not a particularly great photo of my Escort Popular Plus, its a work in progress...

 

And the jewel in the crown of my fleet, my sexy Marina! Last on the road in 1987, one owner from new. Now sitting in the workshop till I can be arsed to do something with it

That Sierra is making me go all funny... the Orion is lovely too. My Orion owning experience was all too short and I've not done a Sierra yet. Harrumph.

Your Cortina is my favourite. V smart. Well done for saving it from the scrapman. Drove and worked on plenty of these back in the 80's. Most common repairs were fixing faults with the choke on the VV carb and replacing the void bushes on the back axle. That and welding for MOTs. Very nice to drive though. Happy days!

Cortina is best. But mk3 wheels on a mk4 is confusing me. Or did they come like that at the start? Think I like it.
