That's a known kit, probably called a Bug-atti

Pigeon poop welding on an easily obtainable bit is rather crap though

TBF, if its' got an ID and one had a lot of time, that would be perfectly possible to "Johnny Cash" your way into a 62 Caddy with junkyard parts available from the US and over here

Austin 20/6 Ranelagh 1938 barn find very rare classic cars.

It's time to say goodbye to an old family friend and put "EOY" up for sale.
Purchased by my Uncle in the late 50's and used as a taxi and funeral car in the local area for many years by my family, out of Penrhos Garage, Aberdyfi.
Uncle Ed restored the car especially for my parents wedding in 1971. You can see in the photos EOY is GLEAMING!

Nope,  I say time to put your old friend out of their misery.  It is certainly not worth the 3.5K you are asking.

You know they're deluded when there are more photos in the listing of the car from 50 years ago than of the car today.

If I were rich, I would have bought it and had it delivered to @GingerNuttz it deserves to be saved.

But I'm not rich, which is probably a good thing.

Got a notification that you quoted me. That is not my quote. How did you forge that?

I didn't! Well, not deliberately. If you scroll up you'll see I quoted DV's post, and you came along for the ride, somehow.

Not only that, the first two photos are of different cars. In the second photo it's not parked butted up to a caravan and it's grown a blue strip up the bodywork. Wonder what that's all about.

Same car, the blue strip is a ratchet strap holding it together. There is no way that has rotted like that whilst in undercover storage, definitely something weird going on

Oh yeah, I see now - didn't spot that on my phone. I assume the 2nd photo is much newer as the rear arch looks worse and the front passenger door has fallen off, which isn't the case in the 1st photo - although they seem to have washed the dust off it, because that'll help ;) . Plus the surrounding vehicles have changed, although the Austin doesn't seem to have moved judging by the yellow paint on the shed walls. Looking at the greenery attached to the Hornet/Elf, I reckon all of these have been stored in a hedge for years then dragged inside when someone realised there might have been some (long lost) value in them?

I think the caravan was moved after taking the first photo. You can see the yellow ST on the wall behind. The Elf still has the wood under it to stop it collapsing.

@bunglebusSome rare parts there!

This Bugatti owner could benefit from some suspension components.

Not ebay but my friend was approached by another worker who knew i had purchased the scruffy sprinter from the company. Would i be interested in buying his van as it needs to be gone quickly and hes in trouble with work over it being in the carpark for 4 years!

I offer to pop by and have a look.  So the key is left on the wheel and i pop by one evening.

Parked for 4 years, snapped belt which appears takes the camshaft and possibly the head on these.  Plus all the other usual bits for a long parked higher miles van.

Could be worth putting time/money into.

Scrap (at the time) price offered. Seems owner was shocked and was wanting a thousand minimum.

Good luck with that.

The steering wheel probably has a set of teeth embedded in it; good for falsies?
