'just bloody scrap it' - the eBay 'fuck me, what were they thinking' thread

A pantomime horse inspired merc ml, feast your eyes on this. Somebody has spent a lot of time and money making this look ridiculous.

From certain angles it looks like an RTC.

Ever wondered how to turn 2 shite ml's into 1 and a half?

^^ reminds me of a film I should never have watched ‘The Human Caterpillar’...... I take no blame for the scars it left on me, thankfully the crazy bitch who was really into it was put out to pasture.... in all fairness she was a BOBFOC and I was drinking to much Scrumpy.

Looks like someone already has scrapped this one tbf.

Description is quite honest, you can tell they just barely got it that far on the truck without it disintegrating.

Brave project + Need a tilt and slide to move = ITFFM,BT

"It's rotten"

That's quite true.

"£1000"

Errr... but you just said it's rotten?

This smacks of someone who's paid £50 for this from round the back of a garage and now thinks they're fucking Wheeler Dealer royalty.

"Bags of potential"

Also true - it could swiftly become a washing machine, a fridge-freezer, bean tins... the possibilities, like the seller's optimism, are seemingly endless....

What's 2 scabby minor doors worth?

192484901_3022411968045898_3636556979044

This body was going to be used on a hot rod chassis but it never happened. It was cut in two and a few inches added in the middle to make it wider. There is no floor. The doors still have their winding windows. I was going to put it in the field, fill it with soil and plant lots of flowers in it as a feature of interest but my wife said no! No offers, local delivery possible. £200

This badboy is back, now even more alluring:

Been bummed for it's engine
Being listed with the same pictures (presumably to hide how much it collapsed when the engine was taken out?)
Still £300 which is 100x more than the remaining iron oxide flakes will weigh in for

This is not quite scrap yet but it definitely belongs here.

May be an image of car and outdoors

THREE THOUSAND POUNDS the seller is asking for this heap. He's actually taken out the photo of the front footwell which showed it full of rubbish, and bongs.

Both my own eyes and the last MOT tell me that all the bits of this poor car that aren't made from fibregash and £shop matt black are totally rotten.

Quote

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):

  • under body has had several repirs, under body heavily under sealed.
  • Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material all pipes covered in under seal (1.1.11 (c))
  • all front and rear suspension components have surface corrosion

£300 maybe, for someone with no shame to drive until the MOT runs out.

Worth posting just for the comedy CDC on the windscreen.

Ten large?

For what's basically a collapsed shed with a sidevalve in it?

That's not a comedy CDC, I think that must be a portrait of the vendor.

That's the modern day equivalent of a Saxo with fibreglass bodykit, neons and lexus lights.

I had a restored Suzuki SC100 "Whizzkid" that had already begun the rusting process familiar on these a couple of years after.

An SC100 that's been in the bushes since 1996?
