I've only been back in the UK a few hours......

Someone clearly doesn't like me....

I wonder if I'll be expected to pay for the telegraph pole, and knackered broadband cables?

Oh well.

Posted

Ah, FFS. I hope above all else nobody was hurt? Whoever did this is clearly scum of the very highest (lowest?) order, especially as there are houses so close by.

Is there anything we can try and do to help you, Nigel?

Posted

Ta mate. Twingo rims will be off shortly, then it's gone.

25 needs reg transferring, rims off, and hopefully someone will make use of the running gear? It's gone within a week, either ways.

Pisser, frankly.

Oh man, that's a tragedy :(  I guess BT will be claiming on your insurance. Was it definitely arson?

Posted

Words fail me, they really do. If someone is enough of a shit to do that, why do they bother to live?

That's awful. I hope no one was physically hurt, although if it were the people who did this I wouldn't feel sorry for them.

What motivates someone to think it is acceptable to damage someone else's property is beyond me.

Bastardos.

Poor Twingo. Find those responsible and I'll be round with a can and a match. Eye for an eye, cunt for a Twingo etc.  :-(

Oh, that's not good, sorry to see that Nigel. I'm assuming that Twingo is ex-JohnF, going by the German plate?

I seem to remember you've had trouble with cars getting torched in the past, and I may be jumping the gun here, but I'd say that's the work of a 'KIPper.

but I'd say that's the work of a 'KIPper.

I was just thinking that.

Very sorry to see this Nigel.

I remember how I felt when someone stuck a screwdriver through the sidewalls of my Fiat 127, but this is a whole different league... :(

Posted

Ouch, that doesn't look good.

Some twat's lit an estate agents sign on fire years ago and put it under my first car, burnt it to a shell, it took out my step dad's company zafira and the front of the garage. Narrowly missed next doors house. The missing fence panel in mums back garden was missing for years too from when the bloke next door kicked it out so we could get out of our house.

Sadly I fear your next moan will be about the police too, useless bastards

Posted

Gah!! I thought it had been a while since one of your cars had been vandalised.

'KIPper?

Bloody arseholes, it is really saddening and angers me to see sights like that, sorry for your losses

Posted

I'm sad to see that. It leaves me bewildered why anyone would do such a thing.

No idea, yet, but I expect to know soon. Twingo was rammed back into the 25, which prevented me saving it, as it was hooked onthe tow hitch.

Fire seems courtesy of a Molotov, pushed through the ( now permanently) open door. It went quickly, with a huge bang, but I saw it in the early stages, ignition was between the 2 front seats. If you know the Twingo, there are no fire sources ther, esp with the battery disconnected( standard practice)

Rims are off the Twingo( which was heading for Belgium Mid week) and it's bring weighed in today. 2 good to go, 2 at the back needing work.

25 will take a little longer. Doovla were called, ( thankfully no reg mentioned) who told me that they would need to inspect...so I've decided to leave it taxed for Feb & just apply to transfer reg as normal , docs now winging their way. Hope to slip it through gently, salvage snything useful & bin it soon. Anyone need anything mechanical ?t'was a good un'.

It's a gutter, but no one died, or was even injured. Feds have been useless, as expected

Its not kids, because the Twongo was forcibly moved, and it was deliberate. As soon as they've gone I intend to fill the space with a pair of shabby worthless mutters, and rig a few of others with infra red CCTV.

Let's see who' s taking an interest!

Not the way I was planning on spending this weekend!

I'm baffled at the exception being taken to you, torching cars is absolutely not on under any circumstance.

Posted

Jesus, that's enough to make me give up on cars and go and live in a cave. Well done on the positive attitude, and I hope whoever did it has a horrible life.

There's some really petty nasty bastards about, what a miserable way to start the weekend. Let us know if there's anything we can do to assist.

What the fuck? Is this seriously how shit this country has got? Is it a personal vendetta or some bigot twat who just doesn't like foreign registered cars in "his" country? Either way cameras are needed and an angry Rottweiler. Utter bastards.

Posted

Words fail me... At least nobody got hurt and the rest of the (in)famous Bickle fleet is safe !

YES !

I suppose the police said something like "if you see anyone doing this again give us a call and we'll be round in a couple of days"

This is much worse than the nutter who kicks the wing mirrors off our cars, so if we scale up the injury that's going to happen to my chap if I catch him your chap will not be wanting to get caught.

Posted

There certainly seems to be at least one individual who seems to have some sort of vendetta against you Nigel; wasn't there some other nutter who joined Autoshite just to have a dig at you recently?  I expect you may already have an inkling who could be involved?
