Rover 25 GTI - *flashback*

I was just going to comment the same thing. Reading HBOLs at a young age, I could probably tell you about car running problems before I knew where France was.

I blame the former owner(s) of course.  I'm still well chuffed that it was such a simple, easy fix.

When people say CHECK THE BASICS FIRST, its because THINGS LIKE THIS.

Any time I've fixed a car it's gone one of two ways:

1) I thought it was simple yet the repair spirals hopelessly out of control

2) my mind spirals hopelessly out of control and it ends up being the spark plugs

Christ. You could get a whole village of Romanians in those gaps. They is hoooooge.

Has it really been ONE YEAR and 8 MONTHS since I bought this beauty?! It is now officially the longest owned car in my vehicular history.

There have been no updates for the Gti as it has been providing faultless service for the missus. She has announced that she wants something with a smaller engine for increased womens economy. I have spent a fortune on it, with the intention of never selling it....................................but I've also just spent a fortune on a small yellow warm hatch, so I am offering the Gti for roffle.

Highlights are displayed below, along with a terrible Ebay standard photograph.

Its quick and its good. It also sticks to the road.

Feel free to tell me that its not worth anything (someone always does).

Roffling can be acceptable, as can offers of cash.

For the avoidance of all doubt, donations may be made via any preffered method toward the costs of vehicle upkeep and or restoration.

Ownership of said vehicle may then be transfered to another forum member/community member at no cost.

Both actions are unrelated.

Be aware that it is most definitely against the terms and conditions of some popular electronic funds transfer providers to accept payments for raffles of any kind.
