I'm surprised it can move with the amount of polish ladled on it.

Fucking HDR photography as well, really hate that. Stopped buying car magazines 'cos of all that shit.

Now I know that bubble cars are going up in value, and I know that the TG500 is a rare beast, but fuck me!!!

that's just about right - a nicer car, with better history, than the one sold last February for $322,000 US.

I know the owner vaguely of this one. It really is like new.

the going rate for a Tg500 has always been 5x the price of a tidy Kr200.

I'm guessing this is the first time an LDV will have featured in this thread...

So how much is this paragon of neo-communist misery? NINE FUCKING GRAND???

GTFO, you cockweasel.

The advert states "the question should be, why not buy from us?".....................there's your answer, right there.......

I recon the GT Turbo may go for that money. Very early, and low miles. A Renaultperv with enough cash would probably have that.

That LDV brings to mind a polished turd. No matter how much bling is thrown at it, it's still just a godawful Convoy and I wouldn't even give them 9 quid for it.

Is this the one that was rebuilt for sme car show on C4 and fitted out with a jet ski in the back or did I dream that?

I see he is looking for TV and film work for the transit. Good luck with that, most film companies are looking for period original motors rather than that awful thing.

This was actually quite a bit better when it was new and it had a nice o-series (presumably) in it, would have been byetter with a V8. Still only worth about an eighth of what they want now though.post-17414-0-78830800-1421319563_thumb.jpg

I remember that LDV! Was at the Commercial Motor Show in 2000.

It was proper pikey spec, I think the apprentices had converted it.

Now I may be totally pissing up the incorrect shrub here, but have a look at this.

$_35.JPGBloody nice innit? Big spec apparently blah blah

Classified Ad price:

EDIT: He's got loads of these, all at "interesting" prices

I KISS YOU

I genuinely knew who'd be selling that before I even looked. It's a horrible, disgusting looking Ford with vile accessories and it's in the bargains thread. It's the former District Garage (Rover) place in Helsby.

Exactly. There was some fool advertising a low mileage Austin 3 Litre for ten grand. Sorry dickhead, but ten grand buys a proper car not a pig ugly heap of shit like that.

I can't fathom out the thought process behind putting high prices on BL stuff that nobody wanted 30-40 years ago. The whole point of an Allegro or 3 Litre is that they're interesting but cheap old chod.

That Allegro is £1000 on a good day in my book.

Trouble is, some eccentric old fool who thinks they're making some sort of "collection" will buy it, and then all the wobby examples start to creep up as they all think "oooh, prices are rising, best give the wreck a blow-over and knock 80k off the odo".
