Ill need a favour on this thread in a bit. Once my ZXR750H2 is ready to sell id like not to brave the general public. There will be an ad on the for sale section but if you lot who are still involved could find someone who wants it that would be ideal. Bit like a motorbike dating ap.

This is the only photo i have at present

Holy moly, that's nice! How much do they go for?

If my fading memory serves me - they were known at the time as having the best front end in the business.

@Iamgroot and @scdan4. Thats the golden question. They dont come up. So in terms of valueing it, thats hard graft. Minters seem to make about 6 or so. Mines very original including the can. But its not mint. Will come with 12 months test and with the brakes carbs and evrything else gone through. In my head, if i got 2 and a half id be happy. But everything is only worth what the man in front of you with cash is willing to pay!

And the worst back end. The previous owner spent a lot of money having Maxton (i think) make an adjustable monoshock unit for it. That tamed it quite a bit 😄

I had the rear brake of my Pan European suddenly seize on recently, which was a bit alarming.  After some faff it turns out the secondary master cylinder is jammed, which explains why the big pistons in the caliper won't return.  Taking it apart revealed the seal is torn up... I'm slack at replacing brake fluid, this would appear to be the result.  Now I can look forward to bleeding the brakes (linked and with ABS).

Changing my own tyres on the garage floor like a real man. 😁 Breaking the bead took a few clamps a vice and some levering but got there in the end.

Considered the part worn route, but they were more than half the price for 8 year old pretty worn stuff, so stumped up the extra.

I picked this up as a light project the other day. It’s a 2022 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, I’ve always had a soft spot for the modern Enfields and managed to pick this up cheap, it had ran out of MOT and the seller was giving up riding so unsurprisingly was struggling to sell a bike with no MOT he hadn’t even cleaned.

I’ve put it back to standard as I hated the bits he added. It’s coming up well so far, it’s only done 3000 miles…

MOT Tuesday, looking forward to getting it on the road. The plan was to flip it but it’s a lovely bike so we’ll see.

One in: clearly it has issues, mostly the shite that needs jetwashing off the front and that absolute horror show on the tool box door, which will require a bio hazard suit...

@hairnet Have you been to Chester Road Motorcycles in Queensferry/Connahs Quay/Shotton/wherever it is? Good choice of bikes in and you can obvs have test rides. I'm tempted by the yellow Benelli.

I've got the TRK 702 on about 4.5k miles now and thoroughly enjoying it. Think the 502 was the best selling larger bike in Italy for a couple of years. If it's like the 702 miles really help the engine smooth out so if it feels vibey and has dodgy fueling at 500 miles just run it more.

I believe so, yes. Looks a hell of a machine for the money.

Whilst 6 grand shy isnt a small amount of money to a normal man, for a brand new bike its peanuts! Go for it pal, you have nothing to lose (shirt maybe but probably not) 👍

Finally got round to fixing it. Started on the first time of asking and now charges!

Haven't ridden it since October. Waste of money? Probably.

Selling it? Nope.

Still haven't told mum and dad about other either... Hope dad doesn't stalk me on here 🤔
