puddlethumper Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 A couple of Plymouth spots. Also saw a Merc fintail but couldn't get a pic. Dyslexic Viking, popularplus, UltraWomble and 4 others 7
DavieW Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 On a wee road trip and spotted this in Coldstream.
Schaefft Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Back in the Fatherland with some excellent spots. A riced out E38, a first Gen S3 in Imola Yellow, an imported Nissan Titan (why), and a lovely low mileage Omega base at the local ex-Opel dealer. Yoss, Dyslexic Viking and CreepingJesus 3
Schaefft Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I was surprised to see that someone actually bought one of the few Lada Vestas that were imported here. The new 7-series clearly found exactly the type of owner these were designed for (drug dealers) looking at the murdered out spec (also happens to be the first or second one I actually spotted in the wild so go figure). Also Twingo, getting much rarer now, these used to be at every corner. Dyslexic Viking 1
Schaefft Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 E36 Touring with what looks like M3 Bits and my absolute highlight so far: a facelifted Opel Senator B CD with 200k miles on the odometer. Now on historical plates (H at the end of the reg). It looked incredibly clean but definitely had work done in the typical areas. Not a fan of the wheels. Dyslexic Viking, CreepingJesus, Yoss and 2 others 5
Schaefft Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I'll skip the Nissan Cube and go straight to the facelift W124 diesel. Still a few around in daily use. The Mondeo was the first mk1 I've seen on the road for ages. Also Transit! catsinthewelder, SteersWithThrottle, CreepingJesus and 1 other 4
Schaefft Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Random Camaro vert and a wonderfully clean Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi with pre-EU plates indicating a long-time owner of at least 20 years. I struggled to identify this from 200m up the road, I'm glad I had a look. Also bonus pic: People in the UK don't even expect their garage to have enough space for a car anymore (because that would be silly). Meanwhile a car port in Germany... Dyslexic Viking, chodweaver and SteersWithThrottle 3
DavieW Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Another spot in Whitby. popularplus, CreepingJesus, adw1977 and 6 others 9

Must be a rare colour now but those wheels hideous!

DavieW Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Last spot in Whitby before heading home. Yoss 1
Spiny Norman Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Customer came into our place in this absolute stunner this evening. 1977 Daimler 4.2 Vanden Plas with a genuine 42k miles on it. High Jetter, Quintus, Yoss and 8 others 11

Or at least it is not always in the same spot. Always has a valid car park ticket - MOT, not so much. Impressive list of 3 "do not drive" and 10 "repair immediately" defects - none for corrosion though. Good job as it is quite loaded. Snap , papped this one back in June, The inside looks like everyday is a tip-run day , but it is always the same shite Three Speed 1
fairkens Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Clean pants needed ETA - owner should definitely be on here. I was behind him in the supermarket queue. He: 1. Wore a lot of brown; 2. Bought almost exclusively tinned food; and 3. Paid in cash, down to the correct pennies. catsinthewelder, MorrisItalSLX, UltraWomble and 14 others 16 1

I would willingly surrender my Subaru Forester if I could drive that!
willswitchengage Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 I was out mountain biking today and saw a Volvo 740 driving across a golf course. Tried to take a photo but accidentally opened my phone in selfie mode. So have a great photo of me mountain biking, with a Volvo 740 in the background driving across a golf course. chodweaver, coachie, PicantoJon and 7 others 5 5

Three Speed Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 seen on the A303. With those graphics on the back I wonder if the owner comes here?

Schaefft Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 R129 at the German equivalent of the DVLA, random Challenger and a German spec Chrysler Pacifica. I didn't even know they officially sold them here, amazing. Edit: They never did, grey import then! Also facelift E39 Touring with full sport treatment. SteersWithThrottle 1
Schaefft Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 US market Nissan Rogue on Ukrainian plates. It's the license plate holder that caught my attention, the Nissan Rogue club! The Facebook group has been comedy gold in the past. Still plenty of Polos around, now more as an easy to own classic. The same applies to the Lada Niva which are pretty common in the area, although much newer. The Wartburg 312 estate was a great spot, such a clean example. danthecapriman, MiniMinorMk3, Yoss and 5 others 8
