This shape 5 series keep looking better. So much sharper than the new stuff they're spewing out these days.

Agree, they are such a good looking car. This made me go and have a nosey in the classifieds, safe to say I’ve definitely missed that boat…

Disappointed to find it was a Golf mk1 ....

But a CITI Golf, quite tidy once I caught up with it in the stealthy shite K11

I'm guessing 2CV. Based on the skinny wheels, the roofline and I think I can see the headlights.

E34s are ace. About 10-12 years ago I saw a 535i with a long MOT for sale for £450 at the side of the road. I didn't go for it because of the petrol cost. I wish I had given it a go. I missed out on so many cool cars because I was a bit too sensible at the time

What is this? Some sort of Mexican/Brazilian import? It has an extra swage line in the C pillar and more to the point it's an R reg. We were on to mk3s (almost mk4) by then.

Quite a few seemed to turn up in the UK in the late '90s/early 2000s. They rotted faster than original mk1 Golfs

This shonk wagon is currently adding a touch of class* to Milton Keynes market, albeit not vending its wares on this damp Sunday afternoon. It's a Sherpa with bodywork by Ollerton Motors and this firm have two of them, as if one isn't bad enough. Looks like it's been there a while as it's SORNed and out of MOT for two years.
