Austat Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Here are the spots from the last two weeks. A lot has happened over the past fortnight, school holidays, covid scares, turning 18, it's been quite a wild ride recently: Holden HJ Panel Van getting a new windscreen: Dodge Phoneix (AP2D): Landcrab, being used as a daily by the looks of it: Suzuki Jimny (?): Another early Laser, this time a GL-spec model: Peugeot 504: Citroen DSuper: ... and another DS only a few metres away. This has to be the shabbiest DS I've ever seen, the boot doesn't fully shut either by the looks of it: There was this nice Volvo 240 Estate next to the DS Safari, one of the most AS-esque moments I've ever witnessed: Nice Alfa GTV: Merc W116: Alfa Romeo GT Junior (with bonus late-80's Camry action): Beetle: Holden EK Ute: And finally a Peugeot 505 GTI with a lovely blue corduroy interior: Amishtat, Jon, sutty2006 and 13 others 16
sutty2006 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 I do love a 505 ! Probably the only Peugeot I do like the look of.
Tenmil Socket Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 I spotted this two tone 75 on Saturday. Then I spotted this GTi yesterday (doesn't look like its moved in a while). worldofceri, spartacus and Yoss 3
sutty2006 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Campsite we are staying at has this dihatsu Pick up with a noisey Diesel engine. It’s crusty and used to empty bins n tow caravans on and off site (storage next door). LightBulbFun and worldofceri 2

mitsisigma01 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Apologies for the shit picture.... Its not often you see a car with a propeller.... Let alone a propellor as wide as the car... Tadhg Tiogar and Three Speed 1 1
sutty2006 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Is that for extra propulsion? Bit like a nitrous button but more flash like...

mitsisigma01 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 . Gov says its a Rage, but on their website it shows nothing with a propeller so no idea what was in it, looked a bit old skool vw but I could be wrong, website showed Hayabusa or ZZR1400
sutty2006 Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 Spotted Cadillac coupe de ville in a village near to campsite. Three Speed, danthecapriman, noseypoke and 3 others 6

Zelandeth Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Had forgotten about this until just now... Yesterday afternoon I spotted a light metallic blue Citroen GS/GSA heading through Milton Keynes in the general direction of Newport Pagnell. Always a bit of a surprise when I see a classic Citroen around here that I don't either know or at least am aware of... Still have major want for a GSA. LightBulbFun 1
NigeT Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 A rare Panther spotted this morning in Edinburgh. LightBulbFun and worldofceri 2
Aston Martin Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Today has been a Jeepy day. If anyone says these aren't jeeps I shall batter you to death with a bastard savaloy. I've seen multiple Bentaygas... Couple of G63s... A black Rolls Cullinan which really does look like a black cab and an Aston DBX that nobody wants.
Spurious Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 A well worn Triumph 2000. Very well worn. Why does the skeptic in me think they've suddenly found out they can drive it without an MOT? Yoss, adw1977, worldofceri and 2 others 5

mitsisigma01 Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Put them in this one and I'm sure someone can move them if need be ?? I saw one of those Rollsbmw taxi's the other week near Goodwood, so fkin fugly.
Yoss Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 This is in the classic car garage in Beaulieu village. The stuff in there is always a bit overpriced plus Ford scene tax and all that so I wasn't surprised to see it was £18k. I've managed to cleverley* overlay the reflection of my Skoda over the top of it which was exactly 1/60th of the price. I know most people, even on here, would prefer the Capri but is it 60 times better? Also never seen those graphics before, are they genuine period ones? It's a 1600 GT. * Complete fluke. worldofceri, danthecapriman and LightBulbFun 3
Zelandeth Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 I'd personally far rather have the Skoda... Yoss and LightBulbFun 1 1
billy_bunter Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Went out yesterday. These appeared.....Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk mitsisigma01, adw1977, SmoothieAuxFruit and 9 others 12
Yoss Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Looks like it, though it looks even brighter on my phone, but this has a habit of exaggerating colours.

sutty2006 Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Nice spot tonight. Pre smiley Transit BEHOLD! The wand of power!! 2.5 banana with a granada auto slush box. Also has electric hand brake and twin electric slide doors. Ex Mobility. Winnah. danthecapriman, phil_lihp, CreepingJesus and 8 others 9 1 1
CreepingJesus Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 I remember having a LWB auto minibus through the workshop at the same time as a turbo banana Transit Custom we were getting fitted out for a long-range courier: one was glacially slow, the other went like snaw aff a dyke...no prizes for guessing which was which. Yesterday's spots - the Brizzle was just out for a tootle and a bag of chips. Winning at life I think. LightBulbFun, danthecapriman, worldofceri and 3 others 6
Amishtat Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 From Sainsbury’s just now. Seen both of them before but wasn't able to photograph them at the time. LightBulbFun, CreepingJesus, danthecapriman and 1 other 4
