A friend of mine has just had his two cars vandalised outside his house. His Renault 5 MK1 has had its drivers side mirror ripped off and smashed, and his FE Victor has had its passenger side mirror twisted around so much it won't stay in place when the car is moving. I promised to chase up a lead for him, but in the meantime if anyone on here has either I'm sure he'd be very grateful! He's not on here, but I can pass on details.

Bastards. I was almost a victim of that when I lived in Sheffield, but caught them in the act.

 

Seeing as home was some distance from the city centre I often used to have a few drinks and sleep in the car to drive back the next day. I was just nodding off when I heard a group of lads, and I looked up to see them breaking the aerial and mirror off the car behind mine (and clearly not only the one). They appeared somewhat surprised to see me appear from the back seat shouting "What the fuck do you think you're playing at!", although with hindsight, the appearance of me wearing only boxer shorts WAS probably a frightening sight. They legged it and I gave a brief chase, but couldn't sleep for ages due to the adrenaline surge!
