                  MASERATI • BITURBO

😂

I like the Rolls Royce, Paul Restorer on YouTube has restored two of them and built one. One was dark red one as per 'Royal Family' Rolls Royce and the other one a more common dark blue one and the 'kit' one was a bare shell and all the bits included that Dinky offered at some point for the home model builder. Paul Restorer built and painted it in the style of John Lennon's 'psychedelic' Rolls Royce Phantom.

Toy fair this morning

Nice Solidos

IMG_4763.JPG.38d0f5ea5b920f043d2decde0af5081d.JPG

The packaging is really good on these

Not sure if the R17 should have numbers on the doors or not, the tatty one I made a resin grill for doesn't.

IMG_4760.JPG.8ae58c33b11cc629bb2f19a3654694db.JPG

I may put this on a transporter that currently has a different livery Solido 131, two Hot Wheels 131s and a Dinky/Solido Ritmo/Strada in place of the Ritmo.

IMG_4761.JPG.f60e1f3822562675935504238f7e51af.JPG

Nothing special about this Opel, but I just like it

IMG_4762.JPG.2805bc7acefe897305ab5e2f685bc3e5.JPG

Conrad Quattro from the same seller with all the transfers. I quite like it plain white

IMG_4764.JPG.be7f4a94ec83a05270ccaa7d0a5befd3.JPG

Not sure what make these are yet as I've not taken them out of the boxes, but I had a couple of similar Cudas (which went to @eddyramrod & possibly @flat4alfa) which were Matchbox Models of Yesteryear. That made me feel old!

IMG_4765.JPG.104151233d16468fe04463de3393cdcb.JPG

These were quite cheap and the seller had a lot more similar Yank models that I wish I bought as well now

IMG_4766.JPG.e0dafbf59a0271900636337ec22e4bb6.JPG

This is all of my haul, only a few bits of very cheap parts cars this time now that my favourite seller has stopped doing toy fairs. Strangely I bought these scrappers from the seller I've bought most of my Spot On models from.

Yanks in the cases are Altaya. Magazine partwork models from the ‘American Cars’ series and are based on IXO castings. Many are actually available from IXO in different colours and usually better quality & decoration to go with the more premium price tag.

That same series is where I got the donor for my Vanishing Point Dodge Challenger. Usually comes in yellow, as mine was, but there’s a few other colours of it too from partworks.

Porsche set was only £2, doesn't have the battery typically but I can't see myself actually using it

PXL_20260510_133943313.jpg.e5b41b0af0bee2a465e3546f28420582.jpg

You could use it.  Just set it up on a bench as a test track for your Powertrack etc cars. The battery box isn’t needed if you adapt a 12V / 6V transformer to it. Powertrack need 6V

Any guesses who made this Fox body Mustang?

There’s your first two test track testers…. fix a slot-thickness pin to each and let them run about under their own power…

Or just call the whole thing off

Correct on the Norev, unusual subject matter for them

A few minor variations showed up in my boot sale pile yesterday. HEATHROW rather than SCHOOL BUS Corgi Mercedes Bus. I have another with black windows

Renault Trafic that actually says as much on the base, rather than just "Van". Possibly as it's the mini bus body which I haven't found before

Be be fair to whoever Grafficed this Traffic, they did about as neat a job as is possible with marker pens and stickers. I'm still amazed I got the base to clean up as well as it did, the colour seems to make a difference as I'm doing another one that I just can't shift the green from
