Well I picked up my R14 from Dublin yesterday and have been awake for 48hrs and am shattered. Had to drive it 7hrs/360 miles.
Yes I am MattJY and yes I got banned and no I don't know why. I contacted admin several times but nothing.
Here is a pic of my old girl, didn't miss a beat...I am sure I will get banned again. I have sources to 4 other R14's in various states of repair and the white one also in Ireland for £3k. PM me for details now I have my car.
The floor and chassis is very good, the bolt on panels are not so but lucily, included in the price was a boot full of spares:
OEM Renault new:
Tailgate
Both front wings
Drivers door
Wiper panel
Plus a load of other new stuff, wheel bearings, brakes, water pumps, CV joints...the list goes on.
1982 GTL 1.2 with 28k original miles on the clock, to say I'm smitten after 5 years of searching is an understatement!

Finally this was the spares car -stripped on the spot, supplying a good interior for Regies car, and useable parts for mine
 

 
Mine will return to the road when i can be arsed to complete the welding -Regies is safe/dry/secure and driveable. I moved it last, under its own power, @ 18 months ago. He then had no plans to sell, despite parenthood.
 
 
 
 

Is that the one that was photographed in a shed somewhere in Scotland that disappeared shorty after the photo was taken and feared scrapped by most? If so would be great to know that it's survived.  (your comment about being in a different part of the UK to you hints it could be).

Also re the 4th car its nice to know another special edition Regency survives other than the carcass that was bravely dragged from a farmers field a few years ago.

Just came here to post the above; I'd echo what somebody has already said; these really are good enough for a thread of their own

Please don't use Comma ATF...it's changes into petrol when hot...and petrol doesn't lubricate.
Thes boxes do change from second to third a bit hard...mine does the same, I bought a Renault 9 automatic in red (705) recently

For my new project,(a real barnfind, parked in 1996) front and backbumper Fiat 131 (1981) the chrome parts, rest can be used
