The body roll thread

Citroen definitely do well here, but I reckon that Leyland National posted by @Inspector Morose takes the trophy!

Lots of American cars were like it too, but it was a combination of soft springy suspension and the size and weight of the cars.
I remember not long after I got the Mercury I gave it some gas on the curved entrance to a slip road and it didn’t half roll as it cornered, but the sound of the screaming tyres was like something from a Dirty Harry movie chase.

Disqualified.

See my first post, no photos of rolled over cars are allowed.

I remember occasionally my Dad would hurl his R16 into a bend like this when I was wee and it was just me and him in the car, having no seatbelts I loved getting launched across the slippery vinyl back seats.
As with most old Froggy stuff it looks far more severe than it is and had more to do with the initial heave into the turn. than outright speed.

It’s how I go round roundabouts, you’re not trying if the door handles aren’t acting as stabilisers

This is why serious practitioners fit roller skates.

A hat trick of screen grabs, all from 'that' episode of The Professionals, you know the one with the desk on the roof of the Cortina (Series 4, Episode 1 - The Acorn Syndrome if you're interested).

Somone on here has that, or a similar picture to it as an avatar, can't think who it is though!
